"offline" means that the installer won't download some of the packages but will take them from the "local storage" instead

BTW, what's the Qt version you're using? I known that 16.04 is with 5.5.1 by default but... ?

QT_DEVICE_PIXEL_RATIO is depricated since 5.6.0, still it should not lead to app crash
