Yes we can do that. Just be aware that because I'm watching on a very large screen, I not only see micro-stutters, I see (what I call) nano-stutters. So as I've said before, I think my overrides are overkill for most people. But anyway, below is a screenshot my basic SVP config without any overrides.  You will need a decent Nvidia GPU if used with the overrides. I will DM them to you if you wish.

Flowreen91 thank you so much! That worked beautifully. I guess somehow that line must have gotten messed up with the update. I know my scroll wheel had gotten changed to from fast forwarding and rewinding to a volume control, so I reversed that in the file as well.

I am going to try this out right when I am back. I logged into my machine remotely and it had it set as

vo=gpu-
changed it to:
vo=gpu-next

How did you figure that one out? So curious, been at it for what feels like days + hrs lol.

Any luck with the latest update getting DV files to play? I am getting red tonemapping like an afterglow for about 1/4 - 1 second on each fast forward. Would love to know what your prime settings are. Only difference is I have a 4090.

I had 0 issues fast forwarding or rewinding and then did the newest update through the tool.

Now I have a serious delay when using MPV and there is this red aftertone.

I've spent hours and still can't figure what is causing the delay and the red aftertone in the tonemap. I made a new profile and set SVP to automatic and it doesnt matter if it is 1080p or 4k. I get this red aftertone in the photo for 1/4 - 1 second. Not sure what's causing it in the new update

My computer is powerful with a 4090 so its odd. If I use no SVP there is 0 issues, but that defeats the purpose.

Is it possible to download the last package or revert back to see if that fixes the issue?

Anyone solve this?

I didnt have a red border or a slight red after shadow when I fast forward until the latest update.

I just updated SVP and now when I fast forward I have a red shadow for 1/4 second. While before it would fast forward without a delay. Now there is a 1/4 second delay in 1080p or 4k. Prior to this update, I had issues.

Every now and then I get a red border on the outline of the picture.

SytemUsing:
HDR Display
4090 GPU
32GB ram
4.4ghs
4TB SSD


Any help appreciated as I can't figure what setting changed. If I turn SVP off, the delays go away.

For those with MPV issues I made an input.conf file and added
WHEEL_UP      seek 10          # seek 10 seconds forward
WHEEL_DOWN    seek -10         # seek 10 seconds backward
WHEEL_LEFT    add volume -2
WHEEL_RIGHT   add volume 2

That changes around the mouse scroll issue being reversed.

I have an issue where I have a 3090, LG GX 55" and DOLBY Atmos / DTS-HD will not play correctly due to the Nvidia Audio drivers under Supported Formats no longer showing DTS-HD nor Dolby ATMOS nor TRUE-HD in Encoded formats.

I spent the better part of 3-4 hours and changed the audio driver and still could not get it to show in MPC-Be x64.

On a Whim I went into MPV ( I think the colors are more accurate than MPC-BE x64 unless someone can find a better solution).
I entered your above at the bottom of mpv.conf  which I found in the SP 4\mpv64 folder

My Creative Sonic Carrier Sound bar FINALLY shows Dolby Atmos.

I paid for the DTS-HD and the dolby atmos codec in windows and that seems to help.

The only issue is that DTS-HD show sup as PCM. Hoping to find a fix for this.

Love to hear how to get better colors with SVP / Mad VR in MPV.

So far MPV seems to be the best for 4k HDR I feel.

Edit: After a few reattempts, its now occurring also with 0.8.1. The frame its frozen on is I would estimate 8-10 frames into the scene. You can see the audio continues from the seek bar still moving. cpu usage has dropped to almost 0 as theres nothing happening from a video point of view. I have now reproduced without SVP even switched on,  just by having avisynthfilter in the graph is enough to trigger it. I'll log it on the avisynthfilter github page.

Issue 2 - Seeking causes old frames to reappear / flicker during playback
The second issue thats currently not allowing me to use SVP is the issue mentioned above in a previous thread, where it looks like frames from a few seconds ago are still cached / queued or something. So the old images flicker in and out, even with this latest avisynthfilter 0.8.1. Would that be an issue in the filter or in SVP or in both? I'm mainly seeing this in HDR content when in fullscreen. I can't catch this in a screenshot, only a picture taken from my phone, or by frame advancing in mpc, by doing Ctrl-Right. You can see normal frames appear, then soon followed by some frames from before the seek even happened. Like as if they needed to be flushed from some buffer but were not, and so turn up in the playback.

So back at it again, I solved my audio issues but its now not passing DTS-HD and it seems to crash when seeking.

I am getting crashing with SVP enabled when seeking in MPC-BE.

Oddly MPV seems to have 0 issues but I dont think MAD-VR work exactly  in MPV. Would love to get MPC-BE x64 working again.

External Filters set to prefer(one of these need to go?):

    LAV SPLITTER

        -HARDWARE: NVIDIA CUVID


EDIT: On Load I need to let MPC-Be X64 run for a bit then when it has run it will let me seek. If I seek a few more times I will lose audio  or it will crash. But the KEY thing is to let SVP initialize and run first.

More than happy to make a log if someone could tell me how. I just reverted back to this AVI Synth build. Confused why DTS-HD cant intialize though.

Nice, it's working now. I am loving how less CPU usage Avisynth Filter uses.
Sadly it crashes after a few seeks. Somtimes it dosen't even go past one before crashing.
I attached the latest log just in case you ask about it later.

I am going to do a firm uninstall, will write down the settings I have saved over the last two years and see if that works. MPV seems to look quite nice, but would love to have Mad-VR + SVP
EDIT: Did a full uninstall and reinstall.
I think it's showing but can't tell if Madvr is still turning on.

Thanks for your help, odd after all of those hours that an uninstall was needed. Any ideas why SVP was not picking it up? I am just going to assume MadVR is working, I can't seem to tell based on ctrl+j (or may just be drained plugging away haha)

It started with the change of my GPU and monitor and now I can't get SVP to activate when I use MPC-64.
When I load MPV from SVP it runs fine. However, when I switched over to AVISynth + MadVR in MPC in order to fix lag issues, SVP does not seem to recognize a media file is being opened. Would love any help:

2. Since switching over I do not get the SVP graphic that says its operating.

Prior, there would be a slowdown in the video when SVP kicked in 1080p or 2160p. Now if I fast forward audio seems to be delayed (I feel that is my new LG CX + 3090). So I am thinking that I have an option wrong somewhere.

Oddly when I click SVP it does not say there is any active playback.

Thanks a lot for listening and any advice. I really could use some guidance as to what to fix.

nope, just note the Avisynth version installed
3.1 doesn't work with Avisynth+ and 4 doesn't work with Avisynth 2.5

I believe it works since... I dunno, long time ago. At least I don't have any problems with both 1070 and 2070.


Oddly just tried Nvidia  in LAV settings and mpc 32bit wont play video with this enabled. Have to revert to D3d11

I have been reading all of the posts and cannot find any guides on how to fix the color output.

It seems in UHD videos (2160p) all of the colors are off, washed out or just not vibrant.

For example if I open Minions in MPC X64 Yellows are more white. If I were to open it up in any other player they are spot on.

I read a few posts in regards to setting
FRC - Color Allow_10bit = True

But I am having a hard time figuring out any other options I can change.

Would love any feedback, or links to anything else that could help. Have been at it for a few hours and would love to make it work!

I am having issues having SVP to activate with 4k.

Oddly enough 4k only seems to play with MPC-BE 64 bit and when I utilize this SVP wont work.

Could anyone direct me to a wiki or guide as I figure it HAD to be asked before I just came seem to find it weirdly enough.

I am on a very powerful 4k rig and my system should be able to handle this no problem/

The other weird error I get is that Dolby Atmos only works with MPC-BE 64 bit not the regular file, however when I use this SVP won't activate.

Would love any feedback of anyone who could help me.

Anyone have a list of the best way of using this? I had SVP 3 with MPC-HT. But now have a TitanX and win 10 and + paid SVP their good money for SVP 4 Pro.

Would appreciate if anyone had a guide or the best way I could use it to take advantage of my new 4K tv and GPU.
