Seems like the "Duplicate frames removal" setting was the issue, I have it set to remove every other frame before. If I change it to "Do not remove", it seems to play fine.
Update: For some reason, a copy of fresh/unmodified video profiles would work. What are some possible reasons that video profiles would cause this issue?
Attached is the video profile config that is causing the issue, source videos used to test is 1920x1080 29.97i

SVP log?
Here is the SVP log, I've tried both Potplayer and MPC-HC. Also, when I try to enable the built-in vapoursynth function in potplayer for testing, it gives me the error shown in the screenshot attached, could that be related?

So, I want to try using Vapoursynth and I registered the VS filter that came bundled with AVSF/SVP. When I start a playback, the video would freeze when SVP tries to run. SVP and plugins updated to latest version via "additional programs and features"

potplayer will freeze when seeking/skipping with madvr while in fullscreen, same problem with avsf 0.6.9-0.7.3. i suspect it might have to do with madvr fullscreen having high GPU usage. It doesn't happen with ffdshow

I can't reproduce the crash with 0.7.0. Could you please run it with logging enabled: set "LogFile" to some writable file name under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AviSynthFilter

EDIT: seems like the issue is 0.7.0, it was my bad assuming the one with SVP was 0.6.2 since on github that was the newest
I'm getting the error in the following screenshot when I close potplayer after playing a video with svp off. It will even give me this error if e.g. i turn off DXVA while a video is playing.
Potplayer + madvr, updated to AVSF using update tool in SVP manager. Manually updating to Avisynth+ 3.6.1 did not help

EDIT: Found workaround, if anyone is having the same issue, simply use AVS+ 3.6 and downgrade the filter to v0.60
Recently switched video sources and got mp4, then I noticed it isn't as smooth compared to .ts files, why would that be?

This method was able to pull the video back to 48fps, but SVP doesn't seem to be able to push it from 48fps to 60fps as my setting is. No matter what FPS setting I set in SVP 4 Pro, it just playback as 48FPS. Using Potplayer 64-Bit.

It is kind of 2:3 pulldown. 4 in 5 frames recorded. You need to decimate 1 odd frame from every 5 frames.
what to do, and how to do it?
1. Download TIVTCv105.zip form TIVTC page
2. Unzip and place TIVTC.dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\AviSynth 2.5\plugins
3. Open notepad and copy-paste script:DirectShowSource("Video-24-in-30fps.mkv") TDecimate(cycle=5)- change "Video-24-in-30fps.mkv" to your video file name
- save as fixed_video.avs in the same folder near your video file name
4. Start MPC-HC and open this fixed_video.avs (you can use drag and drop)Alternative way. Don't do that. Just download correct video with mative 24 fps.
For some reason, I am getting 2x FPS when I should be getting 60FPS when I use vapoursynth.
When i set the DPI scale to 1, it doesn't scale down

ok, thanks now that the menu is smaller, but i can't seem to remove the checkbox box beside the selections which i used to not have.
How do I create n environment variable? I wanted to disable the scaling in SVP because Windows has already scaled it for me, now that both scaling is on it makes the menu very big.
Is there a way to disable scaling just in SVP?

So I've recently installed the SVP 4 free edition and everytime if I played a video without having SVP 4 launched, it would give me this error line in the player:
as soon as i launch SVP, the error would go away.

i tried to change everything to default and still there is LOTS of artifacts especially on words
sometimes even logos and other things will have artifacts, so the only option is to lower those settings?
Also, which settings will lower smoothness when it is increased? i want the max smoothness.

Hi, i'm planning to either switch to a gtx 660x2 sli or a gtx 770 from a hd 5770, would sli be supported with svp and opencl?
You're wrong, it's still working but benefits gained from GPU are too small comparing to CPU consumption made by "6px, small 2"
thanks, i have a hd 5770 now but i am considering to switch to a gtx 760. will the benefits be seen after the switch?
When i set it to 6px. Small 2, the GPU acceleration has no effect.
