Second of all, I use the settings below for 4K videos, you don't need to have 3X Movie Frame Rate selected, just choose to SCREEN. The most important aspect, is to keep "Decrease Grid Step" on DISABLED.

I posted as links instead of images because on normal 1080p screens those images would take a lot of space for most people.

EDIT - MUST DO THESE:

I forgot, in Madvr Settings go to Devices (Left Menu) --> Choose your TV/Monitor --> Properties --> Under 3D Format, choose None.

Go to Rendering (Left Menu) --> Stereo 3D --> Disable ALL.

Go to Processing (Left Menu) --> Artifact Removal --> Disable BOTH.

Go to Scaling Algorithms (Left Menu) --> Image Downscaling --> Choose Lanczos (3 Taps).
--------------------------------------------- > Chroma Upscaling --> Jinc (Tick enable ONLY activate anti-ringing filter).
--------------------------------------------- > Image Upscaling --> Jinc (Tick enable BOTH activate anti-ringing filter & scale in sigmoidal light).

Hi Blackfire, I tried the settings that you submit and i help me to reproduce 4k content, a dropped frame here and there but that´s normal and I wondering where to push a little more to increase quality.
what settings do you use for 4k on svp?
I got a I73770k and a Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 , MPCHC , Madvr 0.91.11, lav filters 0.70.10 and SVP 4.1.0.114. on a tv Lg UF8500
I totally agreed about of the big difference of reproduce natively 4k.

Hi Chainik,  thanks for reply , yeah I think so too, 59,94 and it's done, especially when using a TV, until now is what I use , I already try the new option, and I have to say that work great for my, even better than before, downside of all this watching without svp it's getting harder every time, I mean friends house, girlfriend house, even when I go to a cinema, but don't worry I can't handle it, thanks for this awesome program ;-)

Hi, question for chainik about the statement of backfire regarding of setting the smooth motion on madvr, it's that right? , for my I think no only increase the renders time, what could leave of dropping frames and also diminished the flow of smoothness.

Ok, I took his advice, one more question that has been around my mind,  affects in some way the behavior of SVP  the adaptive HW of lav filtrers video decoder( mode film or video) a  23.976 file, for some reason I see defferences when its on, but I cant tell for sure one or the other is best.

Thanks you Mystery I can tell that change to new version r1847 over the r1779, I see a improvement on playback, used to have little micro shutters, with the new Avs+ almost disappear

And also fix crashes in the 4k playback files

Nintendo Maniac 64 thanks for reply , i dont have a monitor , I use a tv and the the refresh rate I able to use are 24hz,50hz,60hz. for obvious reason i stick with 60hz because of the content i play is mkv 1080p@24fps. I change my motion vector grid to 8px for some movies like you suggest but I still use standard over Complicated

Yeap you a have a point Nintendo Maniac 64, but these are the settings that bring me the best balance on quality and artifacts, i forgot to mention that i set manually my threads, taking your advice , my goal (and that of everyone else , I hope) is to achieve the best quality viewing experience, sure that depending on the viewer perspective. but we all got here by a similar understanding of how that is. I don't got the ultimate hardware or the latest tv , nonetheless, most of the people that see a movie on my house, are amazed of the quality. and for that, any input to help me to enhance that experience are welcome.Said that, and going back to my original question, these values in the nvidia control panel, actually have an added value. how you think about that.

Roberto Rossi my SVP settings is almost like yours, except Artifacts masking i have Weakest , Decrease Grid Step: Disabled  and Search Radius: Average. My question is about your nvidia control panel, there are arguments for the selection of these parameters, or just your personal preference, I have no certainty that these parameters directly influence the programs mentioned, maybe you or someone else can explain a little bit more.

Same here working Nvidia CUVID , after install lav filters version 0.67.0.142 , the stable 0.67.0 still hang for me.
I use Svp Pro+MPC-HC x64 1.7.10+ madvr 0.90.13

I  enjoy svp as quite some time, but i think never like that until now, I generally use high quality mkv or m2ts movies, with this update and exactly same settings i notice i have much less artifacts, a better and fluid experience, and better overall quality
I use Svp Pro+MPC-HC x64 1.7.10+ madvr 0.90.13 with these settings
-Uniform/13.Standard/Weakest/half pixel/12px. Average 2/Disabled/Average/Strongest/Large/Repeat frame
And it take the recomendation of  Nintendo Maniac 64 and  select my numbers of threads manually.

Cinder , the error in my case was that the installer could not find the same name of the version hosted on temp files, i rename those and retry in the installer , so run anyway. That fix my problem, you have the ffddshow raw in external filters in prefer mode.

Cinder I had a similar problem, the executable is not installed correctly some programs , during installation you had any error messages? , I resolved to change the name of the version of each program could not find the installer SVP4 , after the installation was complete everything was fine.

First of all , thank you very much for the SVP4 without this wonderful program our lives would not be the same, I like to have all upgraded to the latest version , with most programs I have no issue but when it comes madVR from its version 0.89.0 forward gives me rare pixels  across the screen, can anyone help me to fix this problem.

HI Dragonraihan, if you used in your installation some of the guides in this forum for optimal image (mpc hc + madVR + lavfilters) perhaps the impact of all these programs is too much for your pc, you could downgrade the options in other programs and  allow the svp work better.the values renders / queue, present / queue must be equal or close, to avoid a drop in frames.
call me silly, but do not know how to insert images as you did to get an idea of my settings / image.
My setup is i7, gtx 760, 8g @ 1600.
