Topic: InstallationError TypeError:Cannot read property 'displayName' of null

I'm using Win10 X64, please help.

I think it just failed to connect to one of the repositories o_O
Just try to run it again.

I have the same problem, with win10 x64 too.
Retried 10+ times and get the same error. The only different is "XXXXXX" of "remoterepo-XXXXXX" in the path.

Update: Problem solved by run the setup program as Administrator

I tried a lot of VPN servers base in different countries, it comes the same error.

it has nothing in common with whether it's running as admin or not
it means some packages was not loaded from the server for some reason

Well... I'm in China where cannot link svp server directly due to it's blocked by government....

You could Wiki "Great Firewall". Simply speaking it's a firewall to prevent us to see things which gov thinks illegal, it influenced all over China network and it's absolute law. Although I don't know which part of SVP is "illegal"...
I'm using VPN now otherwise I can't even reply you like this...

I am having this issue installing on dell PCs. I used it last night on my home pc and it works. Tried it here at work on a 2 different dell pcs and it wont work. Dont know if this is something with their default image or something.

Tried running as admin and everything.

Any suggestions?

Nevermind. I got it. Work firewall i guess is blocking it somehow. Used wireless and it worked.
