SmoothVideo Project → Using SVP → Standalone SVPtube doesn't work with Potplayer and Mpc-HC
I am only using SVPtube for the ability to playback youtube videos with any player...but in case of Potplayer I'm limited to only 720p, I chose in Svptube 1080p, but it doesn't work....I also tried with Mpc-HC but I only get 10seconds of playback from the video, 1080p seems to be recognised ok in Mpc-HC.

PotPlayer is not support Youtube DASH format.
Read SVPtube description carefully:
"1080p MP4" option is available in SVPtube ONLY when it's set to load videos in either MPC-HC or MPC-BE

It is second issue. As I know duration of 1080p video playback is depend on speed of internet connection. If you have slow internet use youtube download services like savefrom.net to save youtube video to disk and watch it from disk.
To be honest I doubt you're right about Potplayer....I watch a lot of movies from 720p file streaming filesharers and I can't really use Mpc-HC because I can't skip around like I can with Potplayer....at least at streaming movies from fileshare sites Potplayer is light years more advanced and stable than MPC-HC....and I have a 100Mb/s connection so that's not right either...problem is either from Svptube or Mpc-HC not my internet speed. Svtube is probably the one that's not properly configured to run with standalone Potplayer and MPC-HC. I would be really grateful if you could fix SVPtube.
YT 1080p requires TWO different streams to be loaded and played simultaneously.
PotPlayer can't do this (at least via command line) while MPC-HC can.
End of story.

Use standalone YouTube downloader like JDownloader 2. It mux 1080p YouTube videos automatically.

switched to vp9....video works ok but I have no sound.
I don't want Jdownloader...don't want to install java. If you can recommend me something else that muxes the 1080p videos that doesn't need java I would appreciate it.

you need to check "show VP9 amd MP4 (VP9 preffered)"
and then use "VP9 (*)" streams
then it will have "Audio: Vorbis 44100Hz stereo" in video properties in MPC-HC
you need to check "show VP9 amd MP4 (VP9 preffered)" ....is already checked like I said before.

"Right click on SVPtube icon in the system tray - Video formats filter." didn't I said before that there's nothing there saying "VP9 (*)" ?..."show VP9 and MP4 (VP9 preffered)" is checked just like I said before 2 times already.
