Went ahead and got a 1920x and Vega56. Since Ryzen scales so well
seemed like a good choice. Will be retiring a 1230v3 and a GTX 770.
Water cooled O.C. 4100 12 cores should fun to play with.

Been a while since I have posted and been using SVP since 2012. Just wanted to
say thanks for a great product and user experience. The modded crt has never looked
so good.   I7 5930k and Amd Vega56  using MPV.

Svp and MPC-HC 1.7.10 (32bit) with Nvidia latest drivers is a craps shoot and I get lock ups as well
and even a blue screen with my gtx-770. Use 352 drivers and it works for me or MPV which never fails.

I was on the fence with free vs pro and am 100% satisfied with the Pro version
with the smooth playback just amazes me.

Your general setting you using seperate presentation. I have the  last 5 boxes checked
but do not use fullscreen exclusive.

Setting are wrong in MadVr if you are getting dropped frames I have a GTX-770
and have used 59.94 but run 71.928 because of my crt projector. Needi3 was the cause
of my dropped frames  in the madvr settings.

Oh, you're not using custom settings?

Make a new video profile in SVP and that will allow you to modify all the interpolation settings.

So figured that out an am using smoothest video playback, complicated shaders, strong masking. 72fps playback can't remember the other settings with MPv player and the best
15.00 ever spent. The smoothest playback I have ever seen. The clarity and immersiveness is amazing. Thanks SVP team for a great product. Truly is a smooth experience an artifact free.

The one that you know better...

The only thing keeping me from using linux is there is no 1080p 71.928 for crt to push out raster ringing
on the projector. I prefer it over Windows pq wise.

Is there a way to enable this resolution in Linux? And all the timings that works so well with windows.

Thanks Greg

On fast motion of an object say a head turns and halo around
The object like svp is hunting to correct for the fast movement
the rest of the image is in perfect focus with no artifacting. When cpu and card us below 50% usuage. Hope this helps you.
Svp and Mpv is an addicting combo. I only see it on the projector but have not tried another tv.

Anyone using a crt projector at 72hz? I have a highly modded 9500lc 9" crt with the
latest MP mods and looking for some settings help as well as hardware.

Intel Xeon-1230 quad 3.3 and a Nvidia GTX-770 do I need new hardware to 72hz without artifacts?

I am using the latest MPV player and it is a wonderful player. Thanks for lifting the veil off the image. My
crt really shows Madvr haze when watching movies and previously switched back to linux to avoid this.
Now I am back on Windows 10 and SVP Pro4 and everything looks good except for mosqieto noise around fast images
that is distracting on 110" screen sitting 10 ft back. I have not went into any custom settings yet so looking
for the best settings for my hardware and viewing taste.

Here is a quick shot of crt projector in action.

Thanks Greg

Just purchased pro version. Which linux distro will be easiest to configure? I use Mint right now

I am running Mint 17.03 with the 364.21 drivers and have great playback with MPV
that is tear free. My concern is paying for a pro license to see if this works. I have
no problem paying for all the features if I can make it work on my HTPC. I know enough
to basic commands. Is there a test version I can try to see if I can make it work?
Or is it best to wait till it is all sorted out?

Thanks Greg

I am using a AMD 8350/7870XT and experiencing memory leaks and am also
using MadVr 86.1. The drivers are Catalyst 13.2 Beta. Any suggestions?

Also I cannot run SVP benchmark is my card not supported?

A big thanks to all you guy's that make this possible. Picture quality looks superb as I have everything maxed
on GPU Jinc/Jinc on max and no stuttering at all with video. Cpu usuage on 8 cores is under 50% with settings
cranked up, Gpu is under 50% life is good.

I am glad I upgraded from the GTX-480 as the picture is way better.

Well,
I haven't been using SVP for over a week now and have been using my projectors FI and am truly sorry to announce that SVP isn't for me.
Too much artifacts no matter what I do.
My settings are all maxed out and cannot get this program to play without artifacts.

It's driving me insane. UNLESS I'm doing something wrong...which I wouldn't think cause I basically tried everything and read everything.

Good luck with this wonderful software.

What is your GPU and cpu. I finally have no artifacts using a 8320 processor and everything maxed out
using the guide I posted. Could not be happier with SVP but with a lesser processor not so happy in
fact unistalled SVP a few months back.

8 cores 1080p 120hz under 40% core usuage truley a great processor for 169.00. Glad I waited on processors
this past year I am now in the game with MadVr 85.7 and Lav 54.1 and Svp. Thanks to all that makes Pq possible cool

Thanks for the advice smile  I went for I2500k as it looks like the
most bang for the buck right now and won't bottleneck the
Sli 480's.
