I'm watching a video on YouTube that has two audio languages selection but I can't seem to change it when playing via SVPtube 2 + MPV Player, it only plays the first audio.

run the updater manually

I'm currently still on version 4.3.0.173, control panel is not showing the updates section. Is there anyway to manually update without reinstalling the entire SVP 4 Pro or lose my setting data? Thanks!

probably yes, read the docs wink
mpv has support for youtube-dl on his own, though I'm not sure it supports youtube's playlists

Thanks!

If I play a YouTube playlist directly on MPV, will it work then?

Chainik wrote:

Nope. Right now SVPtube doesn't know if/when the particular video playback ended, so it can't control the whole playlist playback.

Ah damn, it's alright then, thanks for the reply.

Hello, is there anywhere to play a playlist from youtube using MPV via SVPTube 2 with SVP 4 Pro Enabled and looping it? Right now, I'm only able to play one video and looping it using SVPTube 2 with MPV player.
Thank you.

I'm unable to watch most of youtube videos using SVPTube 2 probably due to an outdated version of youtube-dl it's using, most recent update I saw from youtube-dl was 07/11/2018 but I didn't get a prompt to update my SVPTube 2 since October 2018, is that anywhere to force an update or is SVPTube 2 update not ready yet? Thanks!

Hi is there anyway to force 2d mode on all the videos I play? For some reasons, svp pro automatic switch to 3D SBS mode when playing 2d videos. Thanks.

You have changed your mpv.conf?

Yes and it turns out that it's best to use "to screen" in SVP too so whatever refresh rate mpv changes it'll automatically fit to it too.

Then try to pass autospeed-nircmdc="C:\Program Files (x86)\nircmd-x64\nircmdc.exe".
P.S. And you can check is nircmd work to you. Separately wink

Tried it and the script still doesn't work.
I can use "nircmd.exe monitor async_off" to turn off my monitor so nircmd should be working fine.

EDIT: It works now thanks!

Where have you placed nircmd?

autospeed-nircmdc="nircmdc"
String - Path to nircmdc executable file.
If not set, nircmdc will be searched in Windows PATH variable.
If you set this "" or "nircmdc", Windows will look in your PATH for nircmdc

Hello MAG79, is at C:\Program Files (x86)\nircmd-x64

Can you attach your mpv.conf?

I can check it with my 144 Hz display next week.

Hello MAG79, here you go

As I can see you placed file to correct folder:

Put the file inside the mpv\scripts folder, see the mpv man page for the correct path, should be %APPDATA%\mpv\scripts\

https://github.com/kevinlekiller/mpv_sc … tospeedwin

Did you try as in example:

Examples:
Setting the options at the command line:
        mpv file.mkv --script-opts=autospeed-speed=true,autospeed-estfps=true,autospeed-minspeed=0.8
    Setting the options in %APPDATA%\mpv\mpv.conf:
        script-opts=autospeed-nircmd=true,autospeed-speed=false,autospeed-nircmdc="nircmdc",autospeed-monitor=0,autospeed-dwidth=1920,autospeed-dheight=1080,autospeed-bdepth=32,autospeed-rates="60;72",autospeed-exitrate=60,autospeed-minspeed=0.9,autospeed-maxspeed=1.1,autospeed-osd=true,autospeed-osdtime=10,autospeed-osdkey=y,autospeed-estfps=false,autospeed-spause=4

What file you want to open and what display refresh rate are you expect?
Why do you think SVP interpolation is not enough to make framerate equal to your display refresh rate?

Hello MAG79, I've tried setting options in the mpv.conf but still with no success.

Usually online videos like youtube, dailymotion, etc with MPV. I want it to be like MPC-BE when I'm playing a 120fps video (after a 30fps x 4 via SVP interpolation) it'll change my desktop refresh rate from 144hz to 120hz as well.
I'm using SVP Interpolation as well, just that some videos like 25 or 30fps doesn't multiple well to 144fps hence the need to change to 100hz or 120hz to fit the 100fps or 120fps multiples.

Well, you can't watch 4K on any other than 4K, image will be upscaled or downscaled anyway. You loose quality if you got used to a more high performance consuming methods of downscaling that what is used in SVP (bicubic or lancsoz, I don't remember now) like in MadVR. Also, it might find vectors better analyzing 4K image but difference should be minuscule.
So all-in-all, it is always advisable to use Decrease to screen size unless you have too much of a horse power and think it will be useful.

Alright, thanks for the clarification!

I want to use autospeedwin.lua but can't get it working with mpv player. I've already created the scripts folder in %appdata%\mpv and put the autospeedwin.lua file in and when I load up a youtube video using mpv it still doesn't change my display refresh rate to match the video frame rates. Any solution?

Do I actually lose video quality if I select that option when playing a 4K video on a 1440p display? For example, I've a 1440p display monitor and I'm playing a 4K video format, if I select "Decrease to screen size" SVP will automatically downscale to 1440p when playing instead of playing it at the native 4K video format.

For 4K playback:
1. do not use 32-bit players
2. use mpv with caution - for some [still unknown] reason it becomes very CPU-demanding playing 4K and lags even with Ryzen 7 on default SVP settings.

Best player for 4K is MPC-HC/BE 64-bit.

Thanks for the reply, for some reason my GPU acceleration was turn-off automatically (was turn on a few days ago), now I turn it back on and all my 4K playback is playing smoothly again. I'm using all 64 bit video players. No problem with MPC-BE w/ MadVR for local 4K playback and MPV for online 4K Playback, CPU Usage usually hover around 40 to 50%.

Hello guys, I recently brought the Pro version of SVP 4 as I wanted to use it to play 4K 60/120 FPS video/anime. It was working well for the first few days but then suddenly today all my playback above 1080p become stuttering and laggy, it's still playing smoothly on 1080p tho but anything above that will be laggy. I was wondering what could be the cause of the problem. Using MPV for youtube/online videos and MPC-BE + MadVr for downloaded videos.
