1. install mpv via Homebrew
2. ensure SVP works in mpv player
3. follow VLC guide

изменения только для SVPcast-а - добавлена поддержка SMB, и в очередной раз забита возможная ошибка ffmpeg при перекодировании, которая обрывает трансляцию

the easy way is set SVP's mpv as an external player (if you're using pre-built mpv installed by SVP)

regarding the embedded player - latest Emby Theater is still on mpv 0.35 (!!), using the legacy API removed since mpv 0.38 I think...
I don't want to build a 0.35 libmpv specifically for Emby
