I've tried many different versions installed w/o DDU, with or without "clean installation" selected in NV's app.
All pre-350 drivers (== OpenCL 1.1) work fine, all post-350 (== OpenCL 1.2) drivers hang.

on your screenshot your're trying to use AVS script generated by TP with new core libraries from this release

Avira antivirus software is flagging the file svp4-maintenance.exe as being infected with TR/Crypt.ULPM.Gen2

Is Avira doing anything else than giving false alarms all the time? What's the purpose of this program? Seriously, all the time people come and annoy me just because this stupid program spits out one false alarm after another.

I believe I've fixed scripts on the server side.
Installation should work w/o errors now and there's no need to re-download installation .exe itself.
It's an error in installation scripts - Avisynth 2.6 installation isn't executed for some reason.
Trying to fix it now...

It's just a workaround.
Since "MT" is an unofficial patch to Avisynth - there's no reliable way for the plugin to get actual number of threads.
For example AVS+ doesn't support GetMTMode() function at all.

this number is totally screwed now in multi-threaded GPU-assisted environment

It's hard to explain... even I'm still not sure what it means 
Simple example: assume we know that every output frame takes 8 ms in average to be built. If we're trying to show 60 fps (which is 1000/60 = 16 ms per frame) then our system is loaded by 8/16 = 50%. It's NOT a "CPU load" but a "system load" from SVP's point of view.
It will be removed from the upcoming release version until I figure out how to measure it correctly

Installation
- Install SVP 3.1.7, ensure that it's working correctly,
- Install SVP 4 Technical Preview to the different folder,
- Exit SVP 3 Manager before running SVP 4 Manager as they can't be running simultaneously.

I don't think so
YT streams higher than 720p has no audio so video player has to open TWO streams simultaneously (video + audio).
Currently it's only supported in MPC-HC and MPC-BE players.

you can cut them off manually
