nope, c2d is too weak for 1080p
> Because they pop up!
so just DO update it ![]()
this's the purpose of "annoying popups" - to force user to do something important
because, you know, users are dumb ![]()
but, ok, "I hear you"
![]()
> And as you surely know, Windows 10 updates caused and still cause a lot of trouble
and now when all planned Windows 10 features are here and stable enough, they can finally allow users to turn this off ![]()
> So there are no plans to bring back the update-disable-option?
we can discuss an option for turning off those "annoying popups"
if you could tell why they are so "annoying"
well, at this stage every update is critical
it's like Windows 10 ![]()

What is this? ![]()
What I already know just from your post here:

- your full name, address and phone number
- your VAT ID

well, start with empty mpv.conf ![]()

> Could this have anything to do with my issue?
nope, this's just a value readed from /proc/cpuinfo
> 10 bit HDR UHD-BR movies has been ripped for a while now
It there any quality comparison tests of those ripped videos?
I mean does they really remain HDR after "4K capture cards"?
Anyway, ffdshow won't ever support 10 bit, so DirectShow way (mpc + madvr) is closed.
Still there's a good chance that mpv supports/will support HDR.
Blackfyre, you should do some tests with your fancy new TV and mpv ![]()

https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:Mac
Homebrew recently dropped support for both 10.9 "Mavericks" and 10.10 "Yosemite" for some packages including mpv.
This means the minimal macOS version to install mpv via Homebrew is 10.11, however you can try to build it from sources by yourself.
> How can you install vapoursynth without homebrew?
anyway, the only (?) possible source for HDR movies is UHD-BR (not taking into account all that Youtube shit), which is still not cracked
no crack - no playback in 3rd-party players w/o DRM - no SVP
> Is SVP limited to only processing at 4:2:0?
yep
I wonder where exactly are you planning to get 4K HDR 10 bit movies? ![]()
some screenshots
https://www.videohelp.com/software/mpc-qt
URL: https://github.com/mpc-qt/mpc-qt
Official Windows releases: https://github.com/mpc-qt/mpc-qt/releases
Pros:
- light-weight standalone player
- well-known MPC-HC user interface
- based on libmpv
- cross-platform!
Cons:
- in development, some menu items doesn't work at all
It doesn't accept "mpv.conf", all configuration should be made via UI.
============================
Installation - Windows
Obviously it requires all the mpv stuff from SVP 4\mpv64 - libmpv, Python, vapoursynth.
1. remove mpv-1.dll from mpc-qt folder
2. add "SVP 4\mpv64" folder to both PATH and PYTHONPATH environment variables
3. in SVP - open "All settings", find "main.setup.mpv_pipe" which is "mpvpipe" by default and change it to "mpvpipe,cmdrkotori.mpc-qt.mpv"
4. restart SVP Manager
> Does SVP support 10-Bit content?
it'll be converted to 8 bit 4:2:0
> Если бы СВП можно было бы прикрутить к Коди под Линуксом
Если кто-то скажет как туда вкрутить mpv - то нет проблем ![]()
ну без компьютера то точно никак

higher cpu load? ![]()
What SVP's installer does is:
1. if there's no c:\windows\syswow64\avisynth.dll - run the official Avisynth 2.6 installer (the one MAG79 pointed to)
2. overwrite c:\windows\syswow64\avisynth.dll with the SVP 4\plugins\avisynth.dll
Note that SVP's uninstaller won't remove Avisynth installed in p.1.
So if you want "clean" installation you should manually uninstall Avisynth and ensure that there's no avisynth.dll left in syswow64 BEFORE SVP installation.
When I use AviSynth from a different source, as MAG79 suggested, it says that AviSynth can't be recognized
who - "it"? there's no "AviSynth can't be recognized" error message in SVP
If we take a look at the first post - the solution was as simple as download an older MPC-HC build and run it ![]()
> I thought SVP adapts to changing FPS
Yep, but not with mpv, because SVP doesn't even know about actual FPS change.
That "estimated-vf-fps" property mentioned above shows "estimated/measured FPS of the video filter chain output", i.e. after the vapoursynth filter, and since vapoursynth script have to call AssumeFPS(), estimated-vf-fps just stays fixed.
This's not our fault cause MPC-HC is a 3rd party application.
You can manually download an older version.
At which point exactly do you see this error message?
What OS are you using?
please check if this one will fix it
this's similar to that one
will be fixed in the next build
Still we do not provide you with the lifetime license in terms of the fact that our package can be used to install the program on giveaway date only. It means that you will not be able to re-install the program after PC crash or install the program on another PC after the giveaway day is over.
на таких условиях можно наверное что-то придумать...
According to our terms and conditions the software gained from GOTD can not be updated or upgraded to newer version. Some programs still check for updates – once you agree to update you lose the registered version.

а та "подсветка", которая рисует на черных полях кадра, в углах тоже умеет - видно если включить режим "glow lights"
