Topic: SVP is not working with my MPC-HC

Hello, how are you?

I started using SVP yesterday with VLC player. I'm in the 30-day free trial period. I really liked SVP because it doesn't cause the "ghosting" effect when used with RIFE. I'm thinking of buying a license.

I tried using SVP with MPC and couldn't. I used the online SVP installer and installed most of the add-ons, including a new and updated MPC-HC (my computer has an older version installed with the K-Lite Codec Pack). I followed the instructions on the website and still SVP isn't working.

In the MPC-HC options/External Filters, I tried replacing AviSynth with VapourSynt to use RIFE and then i tried the ffdshow raw vídeo filter, but it still didn't work on MPC.

Could the old MPC-HC that's still installed in another folder be causing some conflict?

I used the "Updates and features" tool in SVP and added the ffdshow filters as in the image below. Could this be interfering with something?

In VLC, SVP works fine, but I wanted to try using MPC-HC to see if it reduces the load on my graphics card.

Hello,

perhaps you are using 64-bit version of MPC-HC so you don't need all the 32-bit version of components.
I have only DS_64 and VPS_64 in SVP Manager component section, AVSF in 3-rd party and Rife in optional and MPC Video renderer.

In MPC-HC, I only use VS in external filters and make sure that you have "Prefer" option selected.

I choose "when in doubt, choose only necessary compomenents" approach.

Don't use ffdShow. Use AviSynth Filter instead

I tried again with the tips above and couldn't get it to work. I don't understand why it's not working with MPC-HC. I followed all the steps meticulously and try other alternatives. Ok, SVP works fine with VLC and with the built-in player.

I would try to reinstall MPC-HC and filters and add-remove components from SVP.
As close as fresh install as you dare.
Sometimes restart helps for settings change to take effect.
