Topic: What are the best possible settings?

I know that it also depends on what you watch, but what are the best possible settings that would do the best possible job with smoothing and also cancelling out artifacts

These are my settings now. Should I change something?

Also If there are any settings I should change with the script in the SVP folder, then please tell me

Re: What are the best possible settings?

Last time I use "cheater" settings.

All as yours, but:
SVP shader: 10. By blocks
Artifacts masking: Disabled
Motion vectors grid: 14 px (in some cases 24 or 28)
Search radius: Small and fast
Wide search: disabled
Width of top coarse level: Small
Processing of scene changes: Blend adjacent frames

These settings give me maximum smoothness.
Some amount of block-artifacts is possible in fast scenes. But it is normal to my eyes. I like such smoothnes smile

Re: What are the best possible settings?

Thanks for the response.

I saw this gif on reddit, it's not very good quality, but it's really smooth. It's an old clip from Tom and Jerry, which had been encoded to 60 fps. I went frame by frame of the footage and even tho the quality is bad, it still seems much better then my settings. The artifacts aren't that visible in the clip

Re: What are the best possible settings?

Life hack: Switch your screen to 72 Hz or 75 Hz mode to get smooth ratio x3.
It wil give you best results with any settings.

Hi, if I wanna use this setting, should I remove override script file completely from script folder  or just leave it be? maybe override script will interfere while running it’s  default values with above generate setting. I could be wrong as I don’t understand how override script works completely aside it will override any setting applied. Looking for your reply soon.

No, if it in default state and not edited.

What changes have been made to your override file?
