Topic: SVP4 not starting after update

Hi,

I had no issues until I updated SVP4 in my pc to last version (I didn't use SVP for some time).

After update, when I try to start it I see the icon on tray but it dissappears in some seconds.

No crashes on windows event viewer.
I have tried in 2 pcs with last nvidia drivers reinstalled (DDU + fresh install) with no success.

Please help!

Re: SVP4 not starting after update

I think NVIDIA is not the cause. Perhaps it is Intel.

Your CPU has IGP Intel® HD Graphics 4600.
Remove all parts of Intel GPU drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller.
Then install official drivers: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/en/product/81496

Intel GPU is disabled in BIOS so the issue must be related to nvidia. Nvidia 1080Ti is the only GPU active.

There is no mention to 4600 GPU in the log if you take a look.

I had an earlier version of SVP 4 before update with no problems, issue comes with latest version 4.3.0.165.

Re: SVP4 not starting after update

remove %APPDATA%\SVP4\settings\svp4.lic manually and then re-register

Thanks! Working now!

I removed it from license manager but not the .lic on settings folder previously. It was driving me crazy...
