Topic: mpc-be & mpc-hc wont work with svp

i keep getting this error:

21:25:58.435 [W]: VideoPlayer: new instance found in mpc-hc64.exe but SVP can't talk to it.

i've tried different versions with mpc-be but it wont work.i also tried with the included mpc-hc64 that was included in svp but same problem. i followed the guide on how: https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:MPC-BE

i haven't had any problem before but now after the windows reinstall i keep hitting new problems

Re: mpc-be & mpc-hc wont work with svp

Check if you launch player or SVP with admin rights. Run it the same way from usual user.

Re: mpc-be & mpc-hc wont work with svp

nvm reinstall of svp fixed it must have been some codec conflicts

good!

Re: mpc-be & mpc-hc wont work with svp

Is there a way for SVP to kick in faster in mpc? When I use the mpc-hc looper and a sequence replays it stutters and takes 2-5 seconds till SVP kicks in. Is there a way to make it work like with MPV/MPC-QT? They have their own A-B loop functions though

You can try do disable reset on seek:
Application settings - Additional options - Reset on seek - Don't reset
