Topic: best practice required. How to make the image smooth and natural

Hi all,

Just testing the SVP 4 Pro. Enabled for double the rate. Moved bar to higher quality.

Does it's job for smoothing the video, most time it's very good. Yet in some cases, the edge of the moving part appears with more compression defects. Also sometimes the video looks more 'artificial', becomes less natural.

I'm using PotPlayer+MadVR. Playing 1080p or 4K videos on my high end 1080p projector with 185 inch screen, therefore any defect looks quite obvious.

Does anyone have a recommended configuration which enables SVP to smooth the video while still looks natual?

Many thanks in advance.
Tom

You can try to decrease amount of visible artifacts:

What are the best possible settings?
