Topic: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

When I'm using SVP on MPC HD all my cores hit 100% and I get messages from svp telling me my cpu load and how it's too hight and it's going to get jumpy.

Intel Core i5-4670K 4.4GHz Quad-Core
GTX 550Ti 2gb.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

JT!
And what the problem?
OSD message must telling you:

SVP performance is too low.
Try to lower the profile settings.

If you dont know how to change profile settings then you can just reset profiles: SVP tray menu - Video profile - Reset to defaults - OK - Yes.
SVP will detect productivity of your system and choose profile with optimal settings automatically.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

Ah, that's where that was! I was looking for that, but I was looking under "profile selection method".

I did this but I still have the same problem. Should I be expecting this from my hardware?

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

JT!
1. Your SVPmark results? I don't see it in the SVPmark online database.
2. Your CPU load at idle?
3. Additional info about playing video. SVP tray menu - Information - Additional info

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

1. No idea what or how to contribute to that, I'll look into it.
2. 9% or lower
3.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

JT!
SVPmark. It is performance test based on SVP algorithms.
I ask you to download it, launch, enter your forum login/pass into settings, run test and save results to online database.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

How do I upload results?

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

SVPmark - Settings - input your user Name, Password from this forum - Check user - Run Benchmark! - [wait] - Share online

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

How do I "share online"?

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

It's grayed out, I have my username and pass in there. What am I missing?

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

"Check user" button near login/pass at Settings page

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

Yeah I did that, still grayed out.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

JT!
Then use 'Copy to clipboard' button and post results here. I think it will be enough to me to say what is the problem.

Synthetic scores are good.
Your system can not perform real-life subtest

48 fps - vectors search:        N/A

It is bad because vector search it the main part of all algorythm. In your case it can't work properly without errors.
Do you know how to check overclock, overheating and CPU throttling? I think it is the problem.
You can use SVPmark test for this purposes. It can burn your CPU better other CPU stability tests. wink

You need to get stability of your system first. After that SVP will start work properly in 99% cases.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

I forget what program I used to stress test my cpu after overclocking, ran it for a couple of hours and no crashes. Certainly no overheating, never see anything past 70c, I don't see why my cpu would be throttling. How would I go about finding all this out?

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

JT!
I can connect to your computer via teamviewer and try to search the cause of SVPmark N/A subtest results. Email me your ID in teamviewer and pass.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

Thanks, but I don't let people take control of my pc I don't know.

Re: Still having issues with blurays and 100% cpu load

JT!
In this case you need to solve problem yourself. I don't know what is wrong in your system.

Try to disable OSD: SVP tray menu - settings - uncheck option "Show OSD messages". Maybe it is right what you need.
