Thanx for the amazing freaking thread smile My POT player is all set up now!

Thanx a lot!

why?

I just was wondering why I am not able to achieve 256 neurons @ 1080p

I've noticed.. the higher the neurons the better the picture quality, but I never can appear to achieve no more than 64 neurons @ 1080p

A side question: Is it possible that SVP can achieve more than 60 fps while watching movies in MPC-HC?

I've noticed that I can achieve 128 neurons (in madVR) with my R9 290x GFX card @ 720p REZ which wathcing a bluRay movie in MPC-HC.

Yet I can only accomplish 64 neurons (in madVR) with my R9 290x @ 1080p REZ while watching a BluRay movie in MPC-HC.

So how would I be able to achieve 256 neurons (in madVR) @ 1080p?

When ever I tried to go higher than 64 neurons I experience stuttering while watching HQ movies @ 1080p REZ.

Thanx in advance.

As the topic says  neutral

Just curious as to what 3D-vid players SVP supports, I am currently using SVP via MPC-HC player for 3D support videos  cool

Just would like to know if there is a list of other 3D player options available?

Sadly you wont be able to get rid of those artifacts sad but you could try to tone them down a bit in your SVP profile settings for which movie file you are viewing, weather it be a 1080p file or 720p

What is that movie to the screen shot you have listed in the pic above?

Any solution on syncing the Audio with KMPlayer?

Maybe computer is just too slow to operate at those SVP settings?

I don't think so?

I7 4777K

2X Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 Graphic Card - 850 MHz Core - 3 GB GDDR5 crossfired

an 16 GB of Dominator RAM

Don't think that's the issue thou..  sad

1) I use custom build of ЛЬЗб it is called kmp3.8.0.120.lav I can give torrent link or you can google yourself.

What is this? KMPlayer that you talking about? An what's costumized in this?

Sure.. sned me a link smile

2) Try to lower settings/profile to see i that helps with audi

Here is a screeny of that profile which I am viewing the above mentioned movie on

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/EDgNv.jpg

I am gueesing it's a 1080p profile which I am viewing all my 1080p movie files from, but where would I go to adjust something in order to fix this?

Thanx for the page containing the above said information.

Video player error: "Visual C++ runtime error"

SVP can eat a lot of memory especially with multi-core CPUs with GPU acceleration enabled. This is not an issue with the default MPC-HC distribution but other video players may crash when memory consumption exceeds 2 GB limit for 32-bit process.

Luckily there's a simple solution for all that memory issues called 4GB patch from NTCore. Just run it and select video player's (or video encoder's) executable file.

The 4gb_patch did resolve my problem now the movie is playing in KMPlayer while SVP is open.

Also I downgraded to a lesser version of KMPlayer which is this one (KMPlayer 3.6.0.85) being newer versions are cluttered with ads an such.

But it appears that a another problem has evolved?

My 3D movie plays pretty well as you can see

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/WuVNg.jpg

Which this is one of the movies that I illustared above that showed a black screen

1080p 3D movie

it plays but now the audio is out of sync, the audio is a bit too fast, by like 3 secs or so.

And this only happens while SVP is running, when I disable SVP KMPlayer handles the audio fine.

This does not regard all my movies thou, generally it's with the higher quality 1080p 3D movie files, and some non 3D 1080p files.

Anyway I could adjust this?

[

Ok guys   neutral

Here is what data I can collaborate for you.

Like I said it's generally 1080p media files that generate this error.

Here are some screens of my errors regarding the copies that I view

1080p 3D movie

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/rjp3d.jpg

1080p movie

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/w2UCT.jpg

Although I can't fully rule out all my 720p movies, but for the most part my 720p copies play more fluently than 1080p copies.

Here are those screens.

720p movies

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/inEOu.jpg

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/g7lEr.jpg

Now the screens shots that you see above that are BLACK SCREENED (Which are the 1080p movie files) immediately crash upon opening with KMPlayer.

Where as the ones where you see picture playing (which are the 720p movies) , just as long as the movie starts too play I could open Avisynth an clear the script before the player crashes

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/0W9SM.jpg

Which after I've done so... the movie plays flawlessly through an through.

Why is Avisynth such a problem!  hmm

I hope this was enough info?

If not inform me as to what screen captures you want me to post as too what area an I will present them for you.

An thanx again for all your help.

Here is my SVP crash log, if it helps  big_smile

Thanx in advance  lol

I have been trying to get KMPlayer and SVP player to behave properly with one another but have been unable to do so.

I applied both both filters (LAV Video Decoder/ffdshow raw video filter) in KMPLayer

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/vx0Em.jpg

Bot the only way for me to get SVP to work in KMPlayer is if I set both filters to Use forcibly, when this is done some vids tend to play ok an some don't, 3D movies immediately when filters are set too Use forcibly

I would just say it's a problem with just 1080p vids

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/AcilC.jpg

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/eMsU5.jpg

which appear to crash a lot, but I am experiencing problems with a lot of my 720p (not all) vids at times as well.

When I set filters too Don't use/Set Merit I can play all my vids  (1080p/720p/4K/3D) in KMPlayer with no issues, problem is... SVP is not running cause  the LAV Video Decoder/ffdshow raw video filter filters are not being recognized.

Any advise?

Here is my profile settings

this's a different profile  big_smile
your Monkey King is 1080p so set "dicrease frame size" to "disabled" in the corresponding profile

Apologizes smile

This is my 1080p with Monkey King running

http://i.imgur.com/aCITu2z.jpg

You know what!!! you are a freaking genious!!

By setting Decreased Frame Size: Disabled eliminated that problem instead of having it at it's defualt settings of (Decreased Frame Size: Too fit screen) , no more Red/Green split screen on my Flat screen while watching 3D movies now!!

But now having the setting at Decreased Frame Size: Disabled now produces a (svp performance is too low) error message on some of the quality movies that I play  tongue

Which is also a script being written too AviSynth which I also would have too clear

I will tell you one thing this AviSynth is a pain in the ass, you just can't win either way  yikes

So I guess I have to go back into SVP profile settings at reset  Decreased Frame Size back too ( Too fit screen) when I experience this problem.

Ooooh well!!!!

Atleast this will spare me the hassle of having to constantly open ffshow an clear in the script from AviSynth when watching my 3D movies. smile

Thanx Chainik!! you were very helpful wink

Thanx smile Been curious too know weather KMPlayer can run along side SVP

I got it too work, only problem I seem to have is, on some hi encoded vids language appears to be a bit out of sync?

Where the pictres in this thread? roll

Please attach pictures to this forum, do NOT use other image hostings.

The image host that I used for the pics is a little twitchy today, they might be doing some server maintenance.

Looks like the pics are up now smile

Chainik

You kinda went over my head there with all your smooth talk about filters  big_smile

I think I forgot o point out, I am a super newb at all this filtering stuff, but I seem to be getting the hang of it, in a sense  lol

Here is my profile settings

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/hDPRk.jpg

I think you may have to take me by the hand on this one  lol

Did I mention that I love SVP  wink

Here is a off topic question: I was searching through the download page an I saw this thing called SVPLight,  I just glance over it.

From what little I did read, this SVPLight is just for TV hardware an has nothing to do with adjusting lighting in the SVP player it's self... right?

Here is a update smile

I was messing around with SVP profile settings an I managed to achieve the elimination of the blurriness around the characters in the movies I watch.

By adjusting artifact masking in my SVP profile settings too Strongest I saw a big improvement in motion of the characters without the blurriness.

Here is my picture on disabled by default

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/HcaER.jpg

Which you can see the obvious distortions around the figures

An here is my picture with artifact masking at Strongest

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/ZqgpG.jpg

You cannot see the blurriness at all  smile

Keep in mind by looking at the two pics that the character is in motion.

Maybe I will toy around with this settings, an which it between weakest, Average, Strongest to see what type of picture quality I achieve smile

I've also read somewhere else that adjusting the SVP shader in your profile settings can reduce this effect.

I will have to look into that.

Chainik

SRRY for the late reply  sad

HERE is a UPDATE

I just notice today, being I have a PC monitor and a 42inch flat screen TV running dually on my GFX card, that I don't get that red/blue split screen effect when I drag MPC-HC player to my 1920X 1080p PC monitor.

Movie plays flawlessly without me having to tamper with AviSynth at all

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/2HUfP.jpg

But as soon as I drag the player back too my TV monitor I get that red/blue effect

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/Z5osh.jpg

And I have to clear the script to get the 3D movie to run like it should.

Interesting? hmm

I don't think you can disable this script?

SVP harasses you if you try to disable AviSynth.

So the main question is how you make it anaglyph in MPC-HC?

You open MPC-HC with your 3D movie running

An go to External Filters, an then you add the 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation filter, set the filter too Prefer, then hit Apply an OK.

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/bLX5g.jpg

Now close exit MPC-HC completely an reopen your 3D movie of choice, now you will probably get a Black screen in MPC-HC, but you will hear audio.

That's OK!

Now what you do is, Right Click on your MPC-HC player black screen, select Filters then select 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/A86h.jpg

Now the only TABS you would have to deal with are the Input TAB/Output TAB/ an Option TAB

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/cXmi.jpg

Input TAB = Select your movie source Over Under/Side&Side

Output TAB = Select your color an dimension

Option TAB = Allows you to flip your movie vertically or horizontally

Click OK an Apply, now rewind your movie back to the beginning, an your 3D should be set

A side note: Once you are done watching said 3D movie an you would like to watch a 2D movie, go back too filters an set the 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation filter to Merit instead of Prefer, now close out MPC-HC an start your 2D movie.

You will have to toggle the 3dtv.at Stereo Transformation filter on/off between watching your 2D an 3D movies  wink

I hoped this helped   cool

Offtopic Question  big_smile

What are the best Red/Cyan 3D viewing glasses in your opinion?

The ones that I have are plastic an cheap, an I think the lens are too dark

I heard a lot of people are buying these glasses cause they are great in quality?

Hear great reviews on them.

What glasses do you use?

Like I said.. a script gets wriiten into AviSynth which I would have to clear, which turns the screen that Red an Greenish colour.

It's not even viewable at all with my red/cyan anaglyph glasses, an again, yet when I turn off SVP I am view the movie in 3D with no problem with my glasses.

I've also check the stero mode (3D) area in SVP stting, but that does not appear to help at all.

Chainik wrote:

so just turn off SVP - "Settings" -> "Disable SVP"

Which makes my 3D movies look like this.

it's wrong  big_smile
probably you just need to set "Stereo mode" option in SVP to the proper value

SVP makes the 3D vids look even better, I used SVP an MPC-HC to watch 3D movies on my previous PC build, problem is I did not set the SVP --> MPC-HC configuration on my last build, a friend did it.

Now on this new PC build said friend is no longer in sigth, an I am on my own while setting this up.

But I have know for the two of them to play flawlessly in the past.

Thanx in advance smile

I am srry if I am asking a stupid question   big_smile

I've had SVP installed for about a year, but have lately seen it's full potential, an would like to get involved in th project so I could use it to the best of it's capabilities.  neutral

Quick question regarding interpoling, being you guys are on the topic.

I've seen this YouTube vid called Frame Doubling Interpolation (SmoothVideo Project)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=882c25af2hM

I've alos read a few articles in the forum an on the main page in regards to Interpolation.

here is my question, where is this feature loacted in SVP which enables or disables, like as shown in the vid above, or does this feature apply only to  older versions of SVP, being I am using a more current version of 3.1.6, I believe?

Or is this feature intergrated into madVR which I did manage to see a smooth motion feature which you can enable or disable?

Thanx for you patience in my unknowingness  big_smile

I just would like to achiieve the best performace out of MPC-HC an SVP, as humanely possible.

Is there a thread (guide) here which shows the both (SVP,MPC-HC) setup?

I would not mind taking a look through it! smile

I am having a issue with AviSynth while SVP is running while playing my 3D movies using MPC-HC  hmm

When I play one of my 3D movie files with MPC-HC & MPC-HC running, AviSynth writes some script to ffdshows Audio decoder that looks like this.

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/6WhnD.jpg

Which makes my 3D movies look like this.

http://www.ultraimg.com/images/YIEt.png

But when I  disable SVP, I can view my 3D movies properly without this script interference.

I would have to clear the script in ffdshow too get a normal 3D picture setting.

What is this  AviSynth, an do I really need it installed, I was thinking about uninstalling it!

Or.. could I just stop it from continuously writing this script to ffdshow so I could use my MPC-HC with SVP fluently?

Any advise?

no
just get used to it

lol!

I guess I will take that!  lol

Better than a response, than no response at all.

I've noticed  slight distortion particularly around the heads of the characters in the movies I watch when running SVP, it's kinda a blur effect (I guess) but it usually happens when people are in motion.

Now this does not happen all the time, but it is noticeable when it does happen an could become a bit unjoyable.

An this only happens when SVP is running, when it;s turned off, MPC-HC displays the segments in question fine.

Any advise?
