Topic: Slight Distortion when running SVP in contrast to MPC-HC

I've noticed  slight distortion particularly around the heads of the characters in the movies I watch when running SVP, it's kinda a blur effect (I guess) but it usually happens when people are in motion.

Now this does not happen all the time, but it is noticeable when it does happen an could become a bit unjoyable.

An this only happens when SVP is running, when it;s turned off, MPC-HC displays the segments in question fine.

Any advise?

I guess I will take that!  lol

Better than a response, than no response at all.

Re: Slight Distortion when running SVP in contrast to MPC-HC

Here is a update smile

I was messing around with SVP profile settings an I managed to achieve the elimination of the blurriness around the characters in the movies I watch.

By adjusting artifact masking in my SVP profile settings too Strongest I saw a big improvement in motion of the characters without the blurriness.

Here is my picture on disabled by default

Which you can see the obvious distortions around the figures

An here is my picture with artifact masking at Strongest

You cannot see the blurriness at all  smile

Keep in mind by looking at the two pics that the character is in motion.

Maybe I will toy around with this settings, an which it between weakest, Average, Strongest to see what type of picture quality I achieve smile

I've also read somewhere else that adjusting the SVP shader in your profile settings can reduce this effect.

I will have to look into that.
