Hey I completely forgot about this idea and this thread. Is there a trial for SVPlight?

I have 3 monitors. A big one in the middle and two smaller identical ones either side. I'd like to use both those monitors as ambient lighting when watching a movie. I know there's software and kits out there for ambient backlighting, but something that would show a hue on side monitors?

Thanks, but I don't let people take control of my pc I don't know.

I forget what program I used to stress test my cpu after overclocking, ran it for a couple of hours and no crashes. Certainly no overheating, never see anything past 70c, I don't see why my cpu would be throttling. How would I go about finding all this out?

Yeah I did that, still grayed out.

It's grayed out, I have my username and pass in there. What am I missing?

How do I "share online"?

How do I upload results?

1. No idea what or how to contribute to that, I'll look into it.
2. 9% or lower

Ah, that's where that was! I was looking for that, but I was looking under "profile selection method".

I did this but I still have the same problem. Should I be expecting this from my hardware?

When I'm using SVP on MPC HD all my cores hit 100% and I get messages from svp telling me my cpu load and how it's too hight and it's going to get jumpy.

Bumping this because I'm having the same issue again, smoothing 1080p puts my processor at full load and stuttering starts to happen. I tried to goto profiles and reset to defaults but that option doesn't seem to be there anymore?

4k smoothing? Now that's future proofing!

That did the trick, still have the buffering file length issue though, hopefully that'll get sorted pretty quickly.

Another observation. After installing the newest version of mpc (17th december) I used svptube to open a 1080* video and the buffering / only playing a few seconds issue had gone... still no sound though. However, it wasn't being smoothed because the lavfilters folder had been re installed. Once I disabled the lavfilters folder by renaming it, the buffering issue came back.

Sounds like a plan!

I currently have the nightly build of MPC and have read the entirety of that thread.

When I first open a video, it's only 5 seconds long. However, you can see it buffering, buffering slowly (if it was buffering a 5 second clip it would be at 100% almost instantly.) So I'm thinking MPC is showing the length of the file that has buffered, and not it's total length. When I close and reopen it. The file length has increased. Every time I close and re open, it will be a little longer. Is there a solution to this? Is this a SVPtube issue or a MPC issue?

There is also no sound. Any ideas on that one?

Removed the filters folder from the MPC directory. SVP now works. smile

*solved*

Also when I right click on MPC and go to filters, ffdshow video does not show there.

Ok, so now I've installed the x86 version, however now SVP is saying 'waiting for ffdshow video' even with the 'ffdshow raw video filter' added to the 'external filters list'.

Could it be a x64/x86 issue? I'm running the x64 version.

The error message literally just says what I put in my last post. I'll see what I can do with the dmp file.

MPC-HC terminated unexpectedly.....

Then I get a dmp file which I have no idea what to do with.

Seems to happen with every file. Sorry I can't provide any more info.

So I downloaded the newest version (1.7.1 (9ae7b7c)) of MPC-HC. The instant SVP tries to smooth it just crashes. I did have to download the ffdshow raw video filter (?) myself and enable it because it wasn't listed previously. It does save a bug report, would that be helpful to anyone?
