I don't get an option as to what components I want to install on the Mac version like in the PC version. now I have this YouTube icon always sitting in my taskbar, how do I get rid of it I don't need it as I have another app for this.

This is getting annoying, every time I restart my MacBook Pro, SVP tells me that my system performance has changed and it needs to re-do the test. Can you please fix this bug. I didn't change any app or anything in my system.

It's working just fine, but just wanted to show you the log file in case something needs to be fixed in the future:

==> Installing mpv
==> Downloading https://homebrew.bintray.com/bottles/mp … 5.mojave.b
-#O#- #   #
curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found
Error: Failed to download resource "mpv"

Full log file attached

It didn't appear in the payment options before but now it did and I bought a license. I didn't get any serial key though activation on Mac doesn't need a serial?

I was trying to buy a license for Mac but it only says Pay with Visa or Master Card, where is the PayPal payment option?

Also, do you think SVP will be compatible with the new macOS Catalina which was released yesterday ?

Thanks a lot chief! Can't wait to try it out next week.

Here are my MacBook Pro specs:

Apple MacBook Pro 15" 2019 | Intel Core i9-9980HK | 32GB 2400 MHz DDR4 RAM | Radeon Pro Vega 20 | 4TB SSD | macOS Catalina

Getting a MacBook Pro with a Vega 20 Graphics for the first time soon, does SVP install easily and work properly under Mac yet?

I can't find that setting where I would choose the target FPS like in the older SVP

I have a 120hz screen in my laptop but the FPS when running a video in VLC was only 75 FPS so I want to increase it to watch my screen's refresh rate

these are my laptop specs:

MSI GT75 Titan 8RG-094 | i9-8950HK @ 4.8 GHz | Samsung M471A2K43CB1-CTD 2400 MHz 64GB DDR4 RAM | GeForce GTX 1080 | Dynaudio System with Nahimic 3 Sound Technology| Intel Wireless-AC 9260 | Chi Mei N173HHE-G32 17.3" FHD 120 Hz/3ms Screen (G-SYNC) | 3x 2TB Samsung 960 PRO [RAID 0] + 4TB 850 EVO + Sandisk 512GB Extreme PRO SD Card | Windows 10 Pro

I literally just formatted my computer and installed the latest Windows 10 Redstone 5 Build 11763.134

Then I used the SVP online installer which in turn installed v4.3.0.155

I just installed SVP and I get a notification in the SVP tray icon that an update is available. So when I click install via SVP Maintenance Tool, it launches the maintenance tool but it detects no update. What gives?

Right, but everytime I logon to my VPN then back I have to do this again, is there any way to sort this out?

this happens randomly not all the time. But if I use my VPN, then VPN pops up a window asking for the license details because the IP changed I guess. Then I'd have to login to my License Manager, deactivate my PC then reenter the license detail to have it activated again

please fix this

this is harder than creating a rocket! I'll just stick to MPC-HC

When I right click on SVP and select SVP Support in VLC, I get an error message saying:

SVP support ENABLED but the deinterlace filter in VLC is not available any more

where is that option to set SVP to blend to adjacent frames?

Shall I enable it in madVR and set it to always or no need since I am using SVP? I mean would it help in anything or no need?

Today I installed SVP and ticked the VLC 64-Bit checkbox, but it didn't actually install VLC

do I need to install VLC myself now and how do I configure it? it was a pain in the but and I finally gave up on it when I tried 4 months back

can you please tel me how to go on about installing VLC and configuring it in a simple step by step guide?

I bet you do

Now I get it, it's because when I installed it, I installed it by right clicking on the installer then chose Run As Administrator

so when it launched for the first time, it launched as Admin

I then rebooted and it started up automatically and no longer gave me the error again that it cannot communicate with MPC-HC

Chainik wrote:

you'd better ask this via email

what's the email I need to send this to?

just don't run SVP as admin

Im not running SVP as admin, just installed and run using the default settings

Everytime I reboot my laptop, SVP tells me to enter the key again.......so I have to un-register it from the portal then enter it again

what's going on with the activation servers?!

If I don't set MPC-HC to run as admin always, I get an error from SVP that there was an error communicating with MPC-HC, are you sure SVP is running with full administrative privelages?

I remember the developer saying that is no longer needed but it isn't working for me otherwise.

I am on Windows 10 and UAC is on
