I have a Razer Blade 16 laptop with an RTX 5090. I set the nVIDIA Control Panel and Windows Graphics settings to use the nVIDIA GPU for SVP and also selected the nVIDIA GPU in the GPU acceleration but as you see in this video, it is only testing the integrated graphics:

Click the "Show statistics" button to see the current "Scaling resolution".
Also try to upgrade MPC Video Renderer by getting the MPCVideoRenderer zip from here:

(in case they fixed the display issue only recently)

you're right! the moment I went full screen I alt-tabbed to see the nVIDIA Control Panel and it changed to Active! Cheers!

On a side note, I use to always check for the RTX-HDR from this link: https://github.com/emoose/VideoRenderer/releases

But now you showed me this link: https://github.com/qwerttvv/Player/releases

I just need the latter right? They are the same thing?

Here are my settings, but I don't see it Active in the nVIDIA Control Panel when watching a video:

Direct Show Video: MPC Video Renderer
Request Super Resolution: < 1440P
RTX Video HDR = On
Internal Filters > Video Decoder: DXVA2 (copy back)
Hardware Device to use: RTX 5090

I installed RTX-HDR-1.2 and applied the Super Resolution Reg File:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MPC-BE Filters\MPC Video Renderer]
"UseD3D11"=dword:00000001
"VPEnableNV12"=dword:00000001
"VPEnableP01x"=dword:00000001

I also went to PC Settings > Graphcs, and ensured SVP and MPC-HC use the GeForece RTX 5090

When I try to seek through diff. In portions of any video, the player would close both in MPC and MPV.

I am on Windows 10 22H2 with the latest nVIDIA Drivers, I have attached an image of the SVP components that I have installed

I cannot find these options when I open the SVP Control Panel, where are they exactly?

1) Open SVP Control Panel:
- Frames Interpolation Mode = "Uniform"
- SVP Shader = "Complicated"
- Artifacts masking = "Weakest"
- Search Radius  = "Large"
- Width of top coarse = "Large"
(other motion vector options doesn't matter)
- Frame Conversion = "Whatever you want"

don't you have the "OpenCL and OpenGL Compatibility Pack" from Windows Store installed? it might be the reason.

Well this is a clean install of Windows 10 + the drivers bro.

I did install the OpenCL and OpenGL Compatibility Pack I dunno why I thought it's a good thing. Do you think it's useless?

Finally I figured out the problem! It wan't the graphics driver, it was a double entry of the nVIDIA GPU, choosing the other one solved the problem:

By default, MPC-HC uses DXVA but since I have an nVIDIA RTX 2080, would it be better to use CUVID?? I tried CUVID and it worked but I just wanna get your opinion on this

It says on the site that the latest version is 4.3.0.183 but when I hit download it's getting 4.3.0.182

hmm, I just noticed the download now is svp4-mac.4.3.173-3 instead of -2 so I just installed it over the top but it remains as version 173. I don't know if that's the latest version for Mac
