By default, MPC HC is set to use some filter called "madVR" but it's marked "unavailiable"

SVP doesn't alter luma range in any way.
This's only up to video decoder and/or video renderer - for example LAV video decoder has an option to choose output range.

Главный смысл в том, что когда мы подвесим любое следующее обновление (так что бы его было видно через сам Менеджер), вер.52 будет сразу же падать при запуске.
Вариант 1. в старт-меню, ярлык "Maintain SVP installation"
Вариант 2. Утилиты - Установка доп. программ и модулей, выбрать "update"
OK, I've got LG's BD reader plus Hobbit-3 2-disk set (encrypted).
So I've installed AnyDVD HD, run SVP, run MPC-HC, choose "Open disk", and ...
...
... it's working w/o any issues!
What am I doing wrong?

Inserted 2nd disk with a lot of documentaries:
22:43:22.558 [i]: VideoPlayer: new ffdshow video [40864] in mpc-hc.exe (32-bit) [MPC-HC 1.7.10.0] on screen 0
22:43:41.501 [i]: Media: video 1920x1080 [PAR 1.000] at 23.976 fps [constant]Note 20 seconds gap between detection of ffdshow and end of MediaInfo's job.
But after that it's still working.
I have about 30% cpu load most of the time but during the stuttering it is at 90% or more.

ОК, maybe it's possible to adjust views based on ffdshow frame number counter.
I mean I CAN adjust them in that way but I totally not sure it'll help.

There's a bug in 4.0.0.52 with the checking for updates - we can't add announcements of new versions because it leads to SVP 4.0.0.52 crash on start.
Please run Maintenance Tool manually to update to ver.4.0.0.53!
Non-MT version just won't work with SVP. It'll give an error.

I think synchronization between left and right views can be broken by a few frames.
What do you see with "Fluency and tearing test" turned on? (the easiest way is to set "viewing method" to "blended" and capture a screenshot)
well, it can be tricky in terms of memory usage
we still have only one process with a 3 GB limit but TWO Avisynth instances running at the same time
do not push settings too high even if your CPU performance allows this, watch the memory consumption, do not set very high number of computation threads
Just checked with a sample (unencrypted) BD-3D iso.
.ssif file works in Stereoscopic while .mkv made with MadeMKV from the very same ISO hangs on start.
I really doubt we can do something about this.

The only difference in the filter chains between ssif and mkv is:
"MPC MPEG Source" vs "3dtv.at Matroska Source (by MPC-HC)"
Tried to replace splitter with LAV - no luck cause it doesn't support MVC.
