I bet this path is NOT writable w/o administrative permissions and moreover "log" subfolder doesn't exists

> In "mpv.conf" right?

nope, I mean just run it from the command line with an additional argument

again:
0. remove "log-file" from the mpv.conf
1. open cmd window, run
D:\Program Files (x86)\SVP 4\mpv64\mpv.exe --log-file=%TEMP%\mpv.log
2. click Play in SVPtube
3. goto %TEMP%, read mpv.log

switch back to the internal "mpv player" option, run
mpv.exe --log-file=<some-writeable-path>
and then click "Play" in SVPtube

SVP 4\mpv64\mpv.exe

Since some recent version Daum Potplayer supports this playback mode too!

Go to Video -> 3D Video  Mode -> MVC 3D Output Mode and choose one of the "Synthesized" views, for example for 4K TV you may want to choose "TAB at full resolution".

"Free" doesn't support Vapoursynth and 10-bit processing anyway

try a clean installation using Display Driver Uninstaller first

what's in the log?

you don't need Pro version for this

> all movies run on 26-30 FPS with SVP on

your TV may run in 4K@30 Hz mode due to the TV / video card / HDMI cable limitations

Windows XP is no longer supported

This's sad because current version is R43 and it's already two month old

I suspect Ubuntu updated something (probably Python) w/o updating corresponding Vapoursynth module.

> trying to open a 3D Blu just results in a "Cannot render the file"

ISO or a real BD disk? in the latter case you obviously need a BD decrypter software installed

update vapoursynth package

4К/SVP вообще сейчас в VLC смотреть не лучшая идея, ни с каким процом

Hide V+A (DASH) formats – to hide the video streams containing just video or just sound, which is typical for YouTube. To play back such a video, the player must be able to combine two data streams, video and audio. This playback mode is only supported by MPC-HC (MPC-BE), mpv and VLC.

Which drivers? NV's, Intel's or both? Try to clean both Intel's and NV's drivers.

For some reason the simple OpenCL capabilities query tool - located in SVP 4\utils\clinfo.exe - crashes on your system
Usually this means some mess with GPU drivers

there must be something in the log
you'd better send a report via SVP itself

try to clear video drivers with Display driver uninstaller and reinstall them manually

post here "%APPDATA%\SVP4\logs\active.log"

you have a rendering device overridden in all the video profiles
and for some reason some device IDs are no longer valid (probably because of hardware changes)
just remove ("Do not change") / re-set "Rendering device" value

===
>  The only possibility I can think of is the Windows Creators update screwing something up?

As I can't see Intel's OpenCL device in the list, the update may screw the Intel video driver, and this's the reason why device IDs are "shifted".

You'd better send a report via SVP.

> The error still shows up even when I turn GPU acceleration off.

this's just not possible

BTW, if you're talking about VLC 3.0 and have both Intel IGP and normal video card then try to un-comment (remove "//") the following line in SVP 4\script\override.js file:

smooth.gpuid = 0;

even mine $$$$ LG's OLED shows the same artifacts as SVP does

3720QM + 650M are good at least while they're cool - I have no idea how good is MBP's cooling system
