Topic: Linux version app update - QT 6.8 wows

Hello ,

have updated today app for Linux to version 4.7 as proposed,

but now it would no longer start;


for (K)Ubuntu 24.04

./SVPManager
./SVPManager: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt6Core.so.6: version `Qt_6.8' not found (required by ./SVPManager)
./SVPManager: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libQt6Qml.so.6: no version information available (required by ./SVPManager)

previous error was
./SVPManager: error while loading shared libraries: libQt6Concurrent.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

which was resolved by
sudo apt install qt6-base-dev


but the above error is intact;

the svp-linux did function with version 4.6.263 already,

you'd better run the installer, rather than just updating
in will allow you to download all the deps

additional question:

is the download window still active for the linux version?

seem not be able to evoke it with svptube2?
(there is minuscule arrow below play, but seem not hit)

on another partition another error:

./SVPManager: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `CXXABI_1.3.15' not found (required by ./SVPManager)

is the operatoing system not new enough (OS based loosely on Debian12) ?
