QSVEnc now have AI-based frame interpolation filter.
I transcoded a movie without any problems (with staxrip).
The quality looks very promising. I couldn't detect any artifacts in the movie. However, the image impression isn't super smooth, which is probably due to the frames per second (48 fps).

https://github.com/rigaya/QSVEnc/releases/tag/7.87

Transcoding speed was ~200FPS.But the GPU was far from being fully utilized (Intel Arc A750 Limited Edition).

Says latest driver might fix the issue.

Re: Intel VPL AI-Video Frame Interpolation?

Tried a ~month ago, still the same, dunno if there were the "latest drivers" already.
What is really strange is QSVEnc definitely not getting this issue.
I'm kind of stuck at this point sad
