Topic: How to remove ghosting

I attached three files.

"Sample.mp4" is a copyrighted video, but I trimmed an 18-second segment to use as a sample.

My settings are shown in "Setting.mp4".

When the boy in the video runs, ghosting appears, as seen in "Screenshot.jpg".

I usually set "Artifacts Masking" to "Average" because "Strong" and "Strongest" reduce smoothness. However, even when I select "Strongest", the ghosting still appears.

I'm using MPC-BE x64 1.8.3 with MPC Video Renderer and AviSynth Filter.
My CPU is an 11th Gen Intel Core i7.

Does anyone have any suggestions for how to remove the ghosting?

I failed to upload the file.  I have uploaded it to my Google Drive instead.

Ghosting usually comes from motion interpolation settings. Try lowering motion vectors, adjusting sharpness/artifacts masking, and disabling frame blending. Using madVR can help too.

Re: How to remove ghosting

Thank you for your reply.

I wasn't able to find a better setting.

If you have any recommendations for optimizing the settings for my attached video, please kindly provide the specific details.

As I mentioned, my CPU is an 11th Gen Intel Core i7, so madVR will not be effective.

Re: How to remove ghosting

I've tried various settings, but I believe it's impossible to eliminate ghosting in SVP 4 when the background is complex and in motion -- such as with leaves, latticework, or fine patterns -- even if the movement of foreground objects is minimal.

Re: How to remove ghosting

Since no one could offer a good suggestion, I decided to uninstall SVP 4.
Goodbye, everyone.
