SVP Linux + TorrServe

I'm using TorrServe to stream videos on my tv stick 4k and I'd like the streams to get smoothed with SVP. The android version doesn't work on Mi Tv Stick 4K, so I installed SVP on my linux laptop.
Is there a way on android devices to use the SVP server as a proxy for smoothing video streams?
As I understand, the stream url generated by TorrServe should be modified with prepending the SVP server path and then sent to the video player?
