Topic: How to force 60fps output?

Hi,

i've been ripping my blu-ray collection to my computer (using makemkv)
Some of the files are 24fps and some 23.976FPS . Is it possible (or reasonable) to force output to 60FPS. Now it's 60fps only for 24fps content and 59.940 for 23.976fps.

Re: How to force 60fps output?

Anyone? Is this technically possible?

For what it's worth, it seems that when playing 23.976/59.940FPS movie, the svp seem to be using huge amount of more resources than when playing 24/60FPS

24 to 60 should be just as hard to run as 23.976 to 59.940. You can try re-encoding the video in 24 fps instead  with video editing software and test that, though it seems unlikely that it would fix your performance issues
