Topic: SVPtube fails to capture the clipboard URL most of the time

The 'Monitor clipboard' functionality rarely works.
I try using ctrl + c and right click + copy but the URL is detected seldomly.

Could we please get a button to trigger the clipboard analysis?
Something like "Launch manually" or "Process clipboard URL".

ps also it doesn't feel secure to have an app monitoring the clipboard. especially for people who use password managers.

never seen such a behaivor
you're probably using some 3rd party software for clipboard control?

fyi: every app you have can monitor clipboard. it's a system public api w/o any security and/or notifications.

I'm using Firefox on Windows 10 x64, without clipboard apps.
I've been having this bug for years on two different computers.

Also, sometimes you want to copy the video URL in order to share it or do something else with it, so the SVPtube popup would be disruptive in those situations.
A right click menu option like 'Launch manually' would solve everything.

Re: SVPtube fails to capture the clipboard URL most of the time

I'll go further, SVPtube has never once worked for me on any supported site other than YouTube, despite verifying manually that links work in youtube-dl. I just installed the system I'm using about 4 hours ago, so I'm positive that no 3rd party app is affecting keyboard control.

I've even used the Video Download Helper for Firefox to copy the video URL to no avail.
