Topic: Video gets greyer when I disable SVP?

I noticed when I temporarily disable SVP, the video gets a bit greyer/washed out. I checked the settings, wiki, and Google but couldn't find anything about this?

it's a HDR video and SVP does a tonemapping (HDR to SDR) conversion

we recommend switching to Avisynth Filter (AVSF) instead of ffdshow raw filter plus madVR video renderer for HDR playback
