Topic: New PC - Spec Check

I've been using SVP for 1080p @ 2 x interpollation for a few years now on an old i7 2600 4 core @ 3.4GHz and a GTX1050ti, it works fins and I'm very happy with the results for any 1080p movie viewing.

I want to dip into 4k now, and use the same settings in SVP and propose to purchase a Dell Precision 3240, and wonder if it'll be up to the job:

CPU: Intel Core i7-10700 (8 Core, 16M cache, base 2.9GHz, up to 4.8GHz)
GPU: nVidia Quadro P1000 4GB.

Full specs here, but with 16GB RAM and a 512Gb M.2 SSD. https://www.dell.com/en-uk/work/shop/wo … 0cffwer_vi

Thanks for any feedback.

Re: New PC - Spec Check

4K at 2x interpolation? Yes, that system should be more than capable.

My 4 core 8 thread 4790K @ 4.6Ghz and with the GTX 1070 I had before was just on the edge of being able to do it. Could not do 60FPS, but 50FPS was fine with no dropped or delays frames.

The i7 10700 is significantly more powerful, so should be more than capable.

What SVP settings do you use in the control panel?
