Topic: AMD Vega compatibility?

Hi,

I'm exited to see that changelog has:
+ Windows: added AMD AMF encoding option (needs latest mpv built with ffmpeg-master)

Not so exited after installing the new AMD drivers (adrenalin) and there's no GPU acceleration at all.

Question 1:
-Any idea why RX Vega does not list after adrenalin drivers installation? Driver is not supported yet?

Question 2:
-How to setup encoding with AMF acceleration with AMD? (only after that Q1)

dont worry mate, i currently have issues aswell with AMD AMF.
only SVPCode can transcode, but the issue there is the videofile comes out damaged for some unknown reason.

but i actually can set GPU acceleration, but im not into that, because i get a few more dropped frames in MPV with that for some odd reason.

try a clean installation using Display Driver Uninstaller first

Got the HW acceleration working normally. Not in streaming or in transcoding.
