Topic: SVP 4 Audio very low in MPC-HC

I just install SVP 4 with all default component (including MPC-HC 32bit). Frame interpolation works fine to me. However the audio produced is very low.
I assume there's no direct impact by SVP 4 to audio, or am i wrong?

not at all

Re: SVP 4 Audio very low in MPC-HC

Anyone experienced something similar?

I try to open the same video file (.mkv) with plain MPC-HC 64bit, the audio volume is normal, to be compared with MPC-HC 32bit with SVP4.
The audio volume is also normal when I played it using VLC.

I already checked audio decoder, internal filter, volume settings. Both MPC-HC 32 bit and 64 bit have same configuration.

What if you close SVP? (right-click SVP's tray icon)

If your issue still occurs, then we can definitely rule out SVP.

Re: SVP 4 Audio very low in MPC-HC

Update:
Apparently this is not because of SVP. But because of the movie audio is DTS/5.1 and my speaker is simply 2.1 stereo.

MPC-HC 64 bit and VLC has been set up to output to  2.1 stereo. While i hasn't set up the newly installed MPC-HC 32 bit properly.
Put AC3Filter as preferred external filter has solved this problem.
