Topic: Video stops but audio continues when SVP is active

Hi
I can't get SVP to work. Every time I open a video, it plays until SVP kicks in and then it stops, but the audio continues. When I try to stop the video or fast forward the player crashes.
I'm using Windows 10 and I did everything in this post: http://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=2671
Any ideas? it worked before I upgraded to Win10 and I really liked it.

Update:
No idea what I did, but now it works with SVP 4, still same problem with SVP 3.

Did you try to reset profiles in SVP3?

Re: Video stops but audio continues when SVP is active

I have the same exact problem.  After upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, SVP is essentially stuck in Pause and doesn't play the video in MPC.  Never had a single problem with any setting in Win 7.

In windows 10, MPC works fine on its own, but SVP will not play video.  I can hear the audio but video is frozen, and eventually MPC crashes.  Tried reinstalling SVP and MPC etc. Also tried resetting profiles.

I guess I'll just try to update to SVP 4 like the OP did.

Re: Video stops but audio continues when SVP is active

I have this issue too.

Turning off opencl/gpu acceleration fixes it (unfortunately).

Windows 10 x64, GTX 770

Something broke with the nvidia windows 10 drivers for SVP 3.X versions (I don't have svp4 to test to see if it works)

Re: Video stops but audio continues when SVP is active

Thanks for sharing! I can confirm that GPU acceleration on Windows 10 with Nvidia cards is currently broken OR works only sometimes in a quite unstable manner. Just adding my log, though it doesn't contain anything useful. We might have to wait for a driver update.
