Topic: PLEASE! Help me

Hi.
I started using SVP only one day ago and I loved how it made make everything look so smooth, especially anime. And therefor I can not go back to 24fps which is what anime is originally in. I was wondering if you guys could please make a recommended settings for me based on the specs of my PC. I am using PotPlayer btw. I would greatly appreciate if someone had the time and could fulfill this wish for me. Also what profile should I use c or g and what cpu setting 1-4?
Thank you! smile

Sincerly,

Tayyab Khalid

I am sorry but this didn't help. And I already have tried it once. Please, give me other options or tell me what setting to use in MP-HC

NB! I have changed to MP-HC slightly better, but still the same issue. sad

You need more info about Managing profiles, SVP Profile settings or what the problem? hmm

Re: PLEASE! Help me

Ummm... you have not made it clear that you are even having a problem.

From your first post it just sounds like you're just asking for some settings that are better than the default, my guess because SVP's default settings are optimized for live-action rather than anime.

Really there's not much to change other than setting your interpolation mode and/or SVP shader to the according anime settings, though I also find that the SVP shader set to "complicated" can also work well at times (with such a setting it may be a good idea to also set artifact masking to weak)

Hi Dev.

I am glad you answered my topic. The problem I am currently experiencing is that when I watch anime the SVP changes profile randomly and refreshes the profile. Making the video lag and loss frame. I was hoping that you could help me solve this issue with a recommended settings based on my spec and Potplayer.

Thank you! big_smile

Re: PLEASE! Help me

TayyabKhalid
when I watch anime the SVP changes profile randomly and refreshes the profile

it can be due to variable frame rate in the video

1. don't watch videos from that source  big_smile
2. use "variable frame rate repair" option
3. if nothing helps - post here MediaInfo for the video and SVP's "last launch log"

i am thankful that you are trying to help me. I hope I can fix this issue with your help. It'æs not working for particular video it's for everyone I am using Horriblesubs as source for my video 1080p.

Regarding the "variable framerate fix" mentioned above, it's very easy to enable.  Right click the SVP icon in the tray (the area next to the clock in the corner of your screen), go to "Video repair", and then select "Video frame rate repair"

Re: PLEASE! Help me

I'm prefer looking another video source with fixed frame-rate than watching using "Video frame rate repair". No effect sad

You're sure this is not variable frame-rate video source?
