Topic: Wavy Subtitles?

Hello there.

I've just got into using SVP about a couple weeks ago and it was showing no problems, but now when I watch anime my subtitles randomly start to look wavy, http://puu.sh/9R8tm/74eb7f477d.png like this picture here.
I referred to http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/Watching_anime hoping it would fix it and it made it a better, but its still there.

I'm not too sure what to do, can anyone help?

Re: Wavy Subtitles?

If subtitles are rendered with ffdshow - ensure that subtitles filter in the ffdshow settings placed below avisynth filter.

How do I go about doing that exactly?

Re: Wavy Subtitles?

I also have this issue, have followed the same steps as Cahme and having problems with wavy subtitles, the video is fine however.

Re: Wavy Subtitles?

give me a sample and I'll tell how to deal with it
or why it's impossible  big_smile

it's impossible IF subtitles are "burned" into video frames
otherwise there's always a solution somewhere around

Re: Wavy Subtitles?

I installed a different filter to manage subtitles and it seemed to fix it, but thank you!

Re: Wavy Subtitles?

in fact it's subject to filters order

- if subtitles're rendering before "ffdshow raw video" filter - there will be the problem
- if ffdshow itself renders subtitles then "Subtitles" tab should be below "Avisynth" tab in ffdshow properties
