Topic: Framedrop and slideshow video

So I installed Smooth Video Project codec pack and Media Player Classic that came with it.  When I wanted to watch a movie, the movie started lagging and SVP message appeared inside the  MPC stating that CPU usage is too high. Furthermore the picture would freeze on a scene and move on to next scene in slideshow fashion.
Should I disable something? Or is it that my PC can't handle all these fancy codecs?

1. What your computer configuration? Did you see SVP minimuml system requirements?
2. Reset profiles: SVP tray menu - Video profiles - Reset to defaults - OK - Yes. What profile is autoselected (1/2/3/4/5 c/g)?
3. What video resolution and framerate are you try to playback with SVP? Show additional info from SVP tray menu - Information.
