Topic: My system is so powerful but it can't handle SVP

Settings are all at default, using LAV/CUDA with madVR, the framerate plays @ 59 FPS then suddenly drops to 40 FPS then goes back up after a while

What is going on here?

I thought a GeForce GTX 770 with 3 GB on board RAM and 32 GB RAM with an i7 should be able to handle anything

my specs:

ASUS G750JX-CV050H
CPU: i7-4700HQ @ 2.40 GHz.
Memory: 32 GB DDR3 1600 MHz. Hynix RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 770M 3 GB GDDR5 RAM
Storage: 256 GB LiteOn LCM-256M3S SSD + 1 TB Seagate Momentus ST1000LM024 5400 RPM HDD
Screen: 17.3" Full HD 3D Glossy Screen
OS: Windows 7 Professional (x64)

Just a SWAG but might it be the 2.4GHz CPU speed? According to the FAQ it's on the slow side... " for high quality 1080p interpolation you still need powerful CPU and having 4 cores at 3 GHz is a good start." - http://www.svp-team.com/wiki/FAQ

Re: My system is so powerful but it can't handle SVP

That's a GTX770M as well, a laptop GPU is not the same as desktop GPU with the same model number.

The 770M has 960 cores while the desktop 770 has 1536 cores.
