Topic: Netflix support

Hello. I have installed SVP since I use a 120Hz monitor with Lightboost and movies was looking very juddery/laggy somehow. With SVP it looks amazing! I use a profile that is close to the Anime profile to get rid of most of the artifacts while still maintaining buttery smooth playback. I was wondering if there is a way to get SVP to work with Netflix on my PC?

And as a side question, I would like to get SVP to work in XBMC, but I can see you tell us to use the DS version of XBMC, but is that info not out of date? Another side question: I started the SVPtube program and went to Youtube to see how it worked, but nothing happened. Am I doing something wrong?

Re: Netflix support

Forget the XBMC question, I figured it out smile

Netflix
Sorry. I am not in America. I can not check it. Try to tune netflix yourself.
SVP Manager tells "Waiting for ffdshow video..." even when the video is actually playng with ffdshow.

Re: Netflix support

Netflix uses Silverlight from Microsoft to display the videos. I am also not in America.

Re: Netflix support

Re: Netflix support

Yes, I had figured that out by now, since half the forum is Russian.

Re: Netflix support

As they promised, streaming vpn sets up in three easy steps and then watching Netflix in England  is a song and dance. Content streams in smooth and nice.

Re: Netflix support

Capturing the video is the only way so far  hmm
But it could be really tricky: http://www.svp-team.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1737
