Topic: Excessive settings.ini reading on idle

Hi,

can you please make SVPManager not read settings.ini every second?
(C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\SVP 3.1\Settings\settings.ini)
That also triggers anti-virus to read, wasting my SSD and power for no reason, all the time even when idle in Windows.

To see this, please run free Process Monitor utility from Microsoft.

Thanks.

Re: Excessive settings.ini reading on idle

It is already fixed I think.
But thank you. I will look closer at this issue.

Of course! This is it: modification for SVP 3.1.2: SVPMgr_IdleHDDRead_Fix.zip from this topc.

Download, unpack to SVP 3.1.2 folder with replacing.

Try it. It will be included in SVP 3.1.3.

You are the second SVP user who tells us about readings on idle. Another users don't worry about it. wink
