Topic: SVP says FPS > 60 but fraps says FPS = 60
I do not know why FRAPS says that my current FPS is 60 but SVP says it is more than that (OSD). Is this due to a vsync issue somewhere? I am seeing a noticeable amount of increase in CPU usage though.

So what do you expect from rendering 96 frames on 60 hz screen?
i expect that fraps should be able to detect the same frame count that is being shown by SVP
in games i am able to see FRAPS show more than 60
if that is how it really works then i do not have any issues with it
i am just wondering why the two of them reports different fps
Renderег filter (evr, madvr, etc) could cut the output fps down
i see
i use madvr by the way

It is because VSync is off.
For movie watching VSync must be Enabled. That's why you can't see values higher monitor refresh rate.
