Topic: How to play blu ray discs with SVP?

Hi everyone,
I have a bunch of Bluray discs and I am going to buy an external blu ray reader for my PC. I like using SVP for 1080p mkv's, but I would love to see true, uncompressed blu ray images with 60fps.
My question is, how would I go about doing this? I don't want to have to rip my entire blu ray collection (I want to play it straight from the disc).

Re: How to play blu ray discs with SVP?

Hello, CaliHeat

You can view Bluray discs with SVP 3.1.2:
1. Install SVP Full with all options by default
2. Turn off internal MPC splitter: MPC - View - Options... - Internal Filters - uncheck MPEG PS/TS/PVA - OK
3. Turn on subtitles in MPC: MPC while playing - Play - Subtitles - Enable

Also you can read the thread [FIXED] What we need in default installation

Cool thanks, I'll try this as soon as I get my external blu ray drive!
