Topic: SVPTube 2 Issue

Hi,

I like SVPTube2 a lot, but for example if I copy a YouTube link and try to play not from the start, but like 20 minutes forward, it'll just get stuck and only audio will be heard...(attached picture)

Please kindly help.

There's absolutely nothing we could do about this. mpv is just a 3rd-party video player.
Maybe it's a problem with your connection... That video you mentioned works fine for me.
If you have issues with mpv player you can try MPC-HC.

To hop onto this I get the same issue but only when using vp9 streams. Avc1 works perfectly. The issue only happens when you seek to a point that has not been pre-loaded, so in mpv if you seek anywhere on the preloaded line it still works fine but if you seek ahead like in OP's picture it will break. Any pre-loading of the video will also stop when you seek out of the loaded area so you can't go back and keep playing

This happens in MPC-HC as well but any seeking whatsoever breaks it.
Regular local files playback flawlessly

I confirm.
MP4 streams are works well
VP9 streams - still picture after seeking to unbuffered place

mpv from SVP bundle used:

VideoPlayer: mpv v0.36.0-432-gadf7a0d6-dirty /via 'mpvpipe'

While fix is not found just do not rewind to unbuffered places wink
