Topic: How do I shift more workload to CPU (not GPU)?

9900k
rtx-2080
32gb ram
win 10
potplayer
madvr
svp pro 4

1080p60 cpu:15%  gpu:45%
2160p60 cpu:22%  gpu:77%

would like to use less gpu for svp.
gpu for madvr. cpu for svp.

have sellected "no acceleration" for gpu but no change.

svp works beautifully. I love it.192.168.0.1 routerlogin 192.168.l.l

Re: How do I shift more workload to CPU (not GPU)?

it's madVR who loads GPU, not SVP itself

are you able to play smooth 4K HDR at 60 FPS with MPV player, using only CPU? What's the CPU's load and clocks then?

Re: How do I shift more workload to CPU (not GPU)?

Μy opinion is better to use MPC-HC with output setting "Sync Renderer" or "Enhanced Video Renderer (custom presenter)

On SVP Control Panel at "Rendering Device" select "CPU Only"
(maybe CPU are not able to play 4K/60fps - expect if you change some settings like this but not 100% sure:  SVP Shader = "Simple" /// Motion Precision = "One Pixel" /// Motion Grid = "8px small 0" /// Grid Step = "Disabled")
