Topic: Can you limit SVP 4 Pro's encoder to the same frame rate as original?

Hi, I wanted to know if I can limit SVP 4 Pro's encoder to the same frame rate as original content. My hope was to re-encode x264 stuff to x265 without increasing the fps.

Are the any other command options I should use?

Lastly, is re-encoding to x265 going to save me space without giving up quality?

Thanks!

Why would you use SVP encoder if you're not changing the frame rate? If you just want to re-encode download FFMPEG and do it from the command-line.

You will *always* lose quality when re-encoding.

Thanks for the info.

Add new video profile, turn off the "increase frame rate" button, choose this profile on the transcoder page.
