Topic: Playback problems after latest Windows 10 update

Hey guys, so yesterday I have installed the latest Windows 10 update, and ever since i've been using SVP 4 Pro with custom settings in MPC HC 64 bit video player.
Everything was working just fine before installing the damn thing. After that I am unable to do the same old on MPC HC 64 bit. Uninstalled SVP and all of its component including ffdshow, avisynth, etc, etc. Reinstalled it again, still doesn't work.
Whenever I try to run a video in MPC HC 64 bit, this here line appears and nothing happens, video just plays at 24 FPS :

On the other hand, playback works just fine on 32 bit version.
What is this shit and how do I fix this?
Using archaic 32 bit video player is not an option, it's obviously too slow and consumes more PC resources in comparison to 64 bit version.
What do? Thank you very much.

Gaphics driver stops to work properly. It can happen after Win10 update.
Reinstall graphics driver.

Error message - SVSmoothFps unable to init GPU-based renderer

Re: Playback problems after latest Windows 10 update

Yeah man, I just recently, like 30 mins ago fully uninstalled the old ones with DDU application and installed the latest official nvidia drivers for my gtx 970. I'm installing SVP now, i'll give a holla back how it goes. Rest assured.

Re: Playback problems after latest Windows 10 update

Ye, after doing a deep uninstall and reinstall of drivers and full SVP package - everything works just fine, that includes 64 bit MPC HC . If anyone is struggling with the same problem as me, here, download DDU, uninstall your gpu drivers the real way, install the latest version of them, and then install full SVP package all over again.

I believe "install the latest version of them" step is enough wink

Maybe you're right. But if everything's still not working right - you can always reinstall SVP. Just for the hell of it smile

Re: Playback problems after latest Windows 10 update

Just to let you know (maybe related). A lot of Nvidia users report having performance problems with the latest windows 10 build.

Many are reverting to build 1607 (anniversary update). Has been an issue for a while.

All you need to do is DDU -> install back 385.69
