Topic: What's about FFDSHOW 32 vs 64b / LAV Video Decoder - for SVP Questions

Hello,

I am using MPC-HC (64bit 1.7.10) + FFDSHOW 64b for now, but I want to know if it is better to use 32 bit of them instead or not with SVP? More stable, more bugs? What are benefits to use 64 for SVP?

Also, I have a question with LAV Video Decoder, on "Hardware Acceleration" -> "Hardware Decoder to use" ->

I have :

- NVIDIA CUVID (for now I am using it and seems better but not sure)
- Intel QuickSync
- DXVA2 (copy-back)
- DXVA2 (native)

What choice is recommended with SVP? While Nvidia CUVID looks good... Am I doing wrong using Nv CUVID?

Thanks.

AFAIR 64-bit ffdshow produce some memory leak on rewind, however it's not very important with current RAM amount.
DXVA2 (copy-back) is recommended for SVP.

You can use NVIDIA CUVID if you need hardware deinterlace. In other cases NVIDIA CUVID, Intel Quicksync and DXVA (cope back) give the same quality.

If you use 32bit player then you can use ReClock to get maximum fluidity playback with no dropped frames.
