Topic: FFDSHOW Raw doesn't show in Potplayer

Hi.

I tried to follow the guide on http://svp-team.com/wiki/Daum_PotPlayer_with_DXVA
but my PotPlayer doesn't show "ffdshow raw". I tried reinstalling svp and ffdshow but it didn't help.


Furthermore I get artifacts and I'm not sure with which options I should fiddle around. I have a Phenom II x4  945 with a Radeon HD 5770.
I came here because I had judder and lag with every Mediaplayer and Codec I tried. SVP looks very nice, but also a bit new to my eye.

Are you sure that both PotPlayer and ffdshow are x86 (not x64)?

I have both PotPlayer and ffdshow installed x86, but 'ffdshow raw' is still not shown on PotPlayer.
Any helps would be greatful, Thanks.

I did follow the instruction, however when I selected add registered filter. I can not see ffdShow RAW in PotPlayer.
I have installed SVP and PotPlater in x86, but I could not get ffdShow RAW in PotPlayer.

I don't know. It works for me.
Maybe you need to run PotPlayer as Administrator?

PP get inormation about filter from HKCU\CLSID section, so possible reasonse are:
1. PP is x64 and ffdshow is x86, or vise versa
2. PP run and ffdshow install under different user
3. User hav't right to access
4. antivirus may block access to registry, like paranoic Comodo

I bet on 2 and 4
