Topic: SVP4 Free, Reclock and Kodi DSPlayer 15.2 Issue

So I've been using SVP4 Free with great success when combined with MPC-HC.  Lately I wanted to bring that experience into the DSPlayer branch of Kodi 15.2.  I setup my external FFDShow Raw filters and it loads SVP, but there is a problem when combined with Reclock.  It seems like when I start a video Reclock loads before SVP detects the video playback and automatically adjusts my screen to 24Hz.  Once reclock has adjusted the screen then SVP detects the playback and starts interpolating frames at 24Hz when I would like it to operate at 60Hz.

Is there some kind of setting where I can delay Reclocks startup so that Reclock Detects the refresh rate of SVP instead of the video original refresh rate?

Will I need to upgrade to SVP4 Pro to get a feature like this?

Also Devs, great work on SVP4 it is way better then SVP3 even on my lower spec machine

Surely you can just have your screen not change to 24Hz, right?

Also, it would be most optimal to use a screen refresh that is an exact multiple of the source video rather than just a flat 60Hz, such as using 48Hz for 24fps, 50Hz for 25fps, and 60Hz for 30fps; using an exact multiple gives a smoother result.

(example: with black-frame insertion, 60fps @ 60Hz is smoother than 60--to->90fps @ 90Hz, but 60--to->120fps @ 120Hz is smoothest of all)

24->72 is the best imho (if your hardware can handle it). 24->120 is better but requires more CPU/GPU power and really good monitor.
I am using win10 x64 + Kodi 16.1 + svp developer build (same functionality as pro). Reclock works fine (correctly detects 72 Hz) but I really dont need it. Most of my video collection is 24 fps.

ps I am slowly writing guide for ultimate lazy automation ( http://trakt.tv/ as GUI + flexget torrent automation + utorrent downloading + kody player and organizing library + svp).

Of course it's better; optimally you want the highest refresh rate that's an exact multiple of the source frame rate.

My point was that something like 25->50 should actually be better than 25->60.

Ok I get the refresh rate thing.  Not sure I'll be able to set my TV (LG 47LE8500) to those rates as I know it supports 24Hz and 60Hz.  However, using reclock and SVP with MPC-HC works just fine and I can see that my TV's refresh rate is set to 60HZ.  Its just with DSPlayer that SVP gets delayed causing Reclock to start up first.

The trick is to make a custom resolution.  AMD users can use CRU while Nvidia and Intel users can use their respective graphics control panels.
(Nvidia users can also use CRU if they'd like)
